  1. This is the first exciting thing to happen in this country since the Freedom Convoy. Hell to the yeah.

Oh and isn’t it simply fascinating how all the media predictions of low turnout are totally wrong? Almost as if there’s a whole huge majority of angry Canadians itching for a chance to kick Canada in the b@ll$.

I’m going to love watching the #Lieberals go full Communist on this thing. Got my popcorn ready.

    1. Since moving to Ottawa 6 months ago, the only good thing is that I am 2 hours travel door to door to my daughter. I should be shocked but I am not as most people do not have a “clue in a handbag” where Alberta and Saskatchewan are. I moved from Regina, and a young white woman said “Where is that?” There is very little news coverage about AB and SK. Thankfully, I had a good exchange of information with a Regina neighbour yesterday!

  2. A couple of days ago I was set to go vote, then saw the 1 hour lineup, this am when I went to vote, the woman in front of me said we’ll be finished at about 20 minutes, and that’s exactly how long it took.
Very friendly folks working there today, very friendly citizens in line were speaking to each other like neighbors normally do.

We won’t know how it goes until late Monday at best, keep in mind that the polls will stay open until the lineup has all voted, and hopefully we’ll be back at it in spring 2027

The gov’t supported media polls indicating we’ll lose are bought and paid for by the Gov’t of Canada, their #Librano leader is in Alberta for the week, campaigning for his side. If our support was only 20% like some of those triple vaxed people say, then why wouldn’t the PM be visiting his other favorite places in Europe with his “what me worry?” smile?
The PM of Brookfield isn’t voting on this, he’s not Albertan. He’s not one of us.

    Here he is, Marx Carnage:

    1. That has been the common parameter since “safe” COVID voting was instituted … but I believe that’s been changing. At least here in the States.

Me? Sorry … but I believe in-person voting should be the LAW … on voting DAY … unless you have a sick note.

      1. Allow me to encourage my SANE Albertan comrades …

I had to be a warrior
        A slave I couldn’t be
        A soldier and a conqueror
        Fighting to be free

Your vote is your non-violent opening salvo in your fight to be FREE

      2. “Sorry … but I believe in-person voting should be the LAW … on voting DAY”

Could not agree with you more. Opening it up to early and mail-in ballots just opens up more vectors for manipulation. Plus, informed and motivated voters turn ipnon election day, lazy and disinterested do mail -in. Early goes either way but I don’t think it helps turnout enough to be worth the downside.

      3. “…but I believe in-person voting should be the LAW … on voting DAY … unless you have a sick note.”

Yes, me too, except no sick-notes and no exceptions. Show up on the day or f- off.

Plus purple finger of course, due to the appalling corruption going on.

Counting takes place on-site, in front of everybody, after the polls close. Paper votes, no computers. Because lying liars lie, and cheating cheaters cheat.

      4. “Me? Sorry … but I believe in-person voting should be the LAW … on voting DAY … unless you have a sick note.”

        100%, Kenji.

Exceptions for people who will be out of the country or otherwise unable to vote on the day in question, sure. But everyone else….you vote on voting day, and ALL ballots are counted on that (one) voting day. Any ballot that arrives too late is NOT to be counted.

    2. This is my thought as well. Nothing but non-stop fearmongering by the media for the last few months. Most of which is of course BS.

    3. the large turnout may, sadly, be remainers.
Gee, that sure sounds like the legacy media narrative.

  3. I’m hoping like hell that Alberta has a record turn-out for Pre-voting & Voting day. It’s a statement of fact for Albertain’s if the ‘NO’ vote wins on Oct. 19th.

  4. Good Luck!

As a lifelong Ontario dummy, mostly living in Parasite City, I hope this is the start of something better.
I believe Canada – especially now with Mark Mass Migration Carney actively destroying its very makeup – is going to fail like I did in High Skool.

Alberta can do much better on its own.

    My envy and respect…
if your flag-hugging commies aren’t too numerous.

  5. Question: how many 2-spirits are voting twice?

Or is that the other kind of Indian?

  6. Isn’t high turnout a “vote the bums out” sentiment usually? New territory here but that’s usually how it goes.

  7. The “polls” will be shown as fiction once again.
The chattering fools have never understood ,that we are done with them.
    Not buying their product.
Not buying advertising on their product.
We are so done with them that government had to bail them out and put them on the public payroll as State Propagandists.
So they “poll” us..who mostly refuse to respond..
So who do they talk to?
We all know the type.with so little on the ball, they actually love to answer intrusive telephone calls from strange idiots.
And then there is the Push Polling, where the state tries to prepare the ground for more theft and destructive behaviour.

The high turn out is Alberta at its best,I still predict the Independence/F.U Ottawa vote will win.
For that 35 to 40% of those who are eligible to vote, who normally don’t..will turn up to party on this one.
Making the referendum to have a referendum a 60 to70% wipeout.

Team Canada has to be the finest incentive to all intelligent Albertans,to “send them a message”.
The one none of them understood during the truckers protest.
Team Canada..what a collection of fools, thieves and parasites.

    1. Hope you are right J.R. – while I discussed the advantages available to Alberta due to a pro-separation vote, nearly everyone I spoke to said the “No” vote was their choice.
But they would then list the numerous things they were truely pissed off about!
      Their stupidity is stunning!

  8. I ‘n my wife voted Tuesday morn’n here in Airdrie.
Our city has about 150K people. Hard core Wild Rose stronghold.
Advance poll opened at 9:00, we arrived at 9:12. Stood in line, voted, finished, walked out at about 10:40 AM.

People were jovial, light banter, none talked politics.
Lineup was longer than I thought it’d be, not so long as the last city election which took about 2 1/2 hours.

Jeff Rath is right about the first 9 questions. They’re just a smoke screen.
Thing of it is, each of those first 9 questions depend on the other 9 Provinces to want change too.
That means a majority that didn’t care about electing their own senators when Harper was PM will somehow want to make 9 constitutional changes? Where is the interest. WTF is Premier Smith smoking?!
Except for Quebec, who wants more cheese, they’re happier than pigs in shit. They like this Canaduh.

Anyway, I think that they made the questions too complex for the Forever Canaduh dullards.
    We’ll see. I have hope.

  9. I no longer have a vote in Alberta but I am with you in spirit anyway. Who would want to be a part of a Canada that voted for Trudeau – three times??? A strong leave vote would demonstrate that serious changes need to be made if this failing constitutional monarchy is worth saving. Maybe it has to break up to build back better (sorry for quoting Biden) Don’t trust Carney, tolerate Smith and Pierre as necessary first steps.
    Good luck
