But far more recent and serious allegations were made against Keeper, including a pattern of abusive behaviour towards his wife, as reported by Keean Bexte and Juno News.

Several entities of global investment giant Brookfield Asset Management’s core business are registered to an address in Bermuda that also houses a local bike shop, CTV News has learned. Liberal Leader Mark Carney previously served as chair of Brookfield’s board, from August of 2022 until mid-January of this year, when he resigned to run for the party leadership.

As a Canadian who has called America home for over a decade, I’m in a unique position to observe the zeitgeist in both countries. I happen to be FB friends with an SDA regular. A discussion took place on his FB page that I chimed in on. Here’s what I wrote:

For the past several months, I’ve seen public & private comments from Canadians that is nothing short of H-A-T-R-E-D towards Americans. Completely remove Trump from the equation. What I’ve seen is hatred towards American citizens, criticizing them, their way of life, their values, etc.

While this isn’t “racism” per say, because Americans are not a race, if the same sentiments were directed at Chinese or Indians or Africans, it would be pure racism.

Want to know why I’m not surprised to see this explosion of hatred? Because, living across Canada most of my life, I encountered the same on a fairly regular basis. All that has happened now is that the Liberal Party and their vast propaganda machine have given Canadians permission to open express their “2 minutes of hate”.

Since I’ve become the unwelcome party guest here, I might as well ask a question that I’ve posed to countless Canadians, but have yet to receive a credible answer: Why is any Canadian angry at Elon Musk? I seriously would love an answer to this simple question.

National Post- Former Liberal minister worked government contacts to ply COVID contracts without registering as lobbyist

Newly released federal emails obtained by National Post through access-to-information requests show that Copps requested at least two meetings in connection with multiple medical-equipment supply companies during the pandemic. She did not record these meetings in the lobbying registry.

One of the firms was a rapid-test company that would go on to secure billions of dollars in government business.
