  2. Someone must have pointed out to Carney that under Section 464 of the Criminal Code, Chiang is probably going to be facing criminal charges for counselling to commit a criminal offense (forcible confinement), regardless if someone actually tries to abduct the Conservative candidate.

    Even if criminal charges don’t come down, a lawsuit seems quite plausible.

  7. Carney stood by and defended Chaing today…repeatedly and adamantly. Chaing stepping aside to not be a distraction is not taking accountability for his disgusting actions.

    Carney being a lickspittle for the CCP needs to be the issue that dogs him to election day

    2. Carney stood by and defended Chaing…in public. Liberals always do that, they never admit fault by any Liberal.
      But never doubt that privately Carney ordered him to drop out. Next he will thank him for his years of dedicated service to Canada and praise him for having the courage to step aside for the good of the country even though the attacks by the Conservatives were entirely unjustified.

  9. Thank goodness all of this shit is going down in Ontario, because in Ontario if the police or a crown attorney will NOT lay a criminal charge, the aggrieved person can swear out a private criminal charge against someone that has wronged them.
    Ontario and I think British Columbia are the only two provinces were a private citizen can do this when they don’t get satisfaction from the police or the crown Attorneys Office.

    1. This used to work for a millisecond or two where JPs or non-lawyer judges held court. As soon as it ended in front of a regular court with a regular lawyer judge these cases all got bounced. I think the same thing happened in Alberta, way back. An uncle by marriage had to be one of the last non-lawyer judges in Manitoba. He held court every week and saved up cases for trial by a regular judge once a month. Everybody pled not guilty in his court and changed their plea to guilty in the regular court because he was a hanging judge. He was ex-military police and ex-town cop.

      Our job isn’t to clean up Canada’s corruption; we will likely punish you for your corruption if it affects us more negatively than it already has. You need to clean up your corruption.

      I’ve made my opinions of your Conservatives very well known. Honestly, I think they are stupid and corrupt, but at least with them you might, might get some time to work on your issues for they are not as stupid and corrupt as your Liberals/NDP/Greens. Neither Carney nor Polliever will forsake dealing with the U.S. — geographically they both have to.

  17. The discussion should pivot to why Carney refused to drop Chiang as a Liberal candidate. How conflicted and compromised is Carney in regards to China? How many business and personal relationships does he have with the communist government?

    If it was any party other than the Liberal Party, the media would be demanding Carney reveal his conflicts of interest before the election. They’d also be talking about his book and speeches that reveal his deep green ideology and authoritarian tendencies. Apparently, former employees at the Bank of England were leaving due a toxic workplace, perhaps because of Carney’s explosive temper.

    1. Brookfield has a lot of Chinese property assets, which are now about worthless. The CCP has made significant inroads into your political parties (all of them, but probably the more leftist ones the most) for quite some time.

    2. Carney is a true Liberal doing what he damned well pleases, no rules apply.
      He has no right to act like he’s PM of Canada until he gets elected through a general election.
      He was out of line going abroad meeting with the King and other leaders.
      He should be right here doing minimal duties until duly elected and learning a bit about politics, he has no experience, he needs to do some homework.

      If this scandal with Chaing happened within the Conservative party they’d be calling for the leader to resign resignation.
