U.S. intelligence agencies were aware months ago that Army Major Nidal Hasan was attempting to make contact with people associated with al Qaeda, two American officials briefed on classified material in the case told ABC News.
That sound you hear in the distance is the mainstream media changing gears from “Hasan The Hapless Victim” to finger pointing at the failure of those within the Obama administration to “connect the dots” … oh, wait…

Fort Hood: One Paramedic’s Perspective
Kim is of my best friends in dog sport, and owns one of my Mini Schnauzers. When I learned earlier today that she’d been on the scene at Fort Hood, I asked if she’d be willing to write about the experience. In her own words….
I was notified by dispatch that there were several shots fired and potentially several victims. The scene was not safe so we were instructed to “stage” close to the scene. While staging I was approached by a police officer that their was an “officer down!”…I told him I had not gotten a “code 4”, our code that the scene was safe for emergency responders to enter the scene. The officer left and came back again to me to tell me again there was an officer down and needed EMS NOW!
He assured me the scene was safe so we proceeded into the scene. Several bystanders were around and Ft Hood fire dept was already on scene. My partner went to a pt lying on the ground on her side of the ambulance and I approached the officer who had been shot; her gun shot wound was exposed which appeared to be potentially fatal due to the location, a tourniquet was applied prior to my arrival which probably saved her life; she was conscious but appeared very pale and probably in compensated shock at this point due to the massive amount of blood loss I witnessed around her.
I was then summoned to other patients calling for EMS; the next pt I approached was shot in the neck with a arterial bleed…I instructed bystanders to continue to hold pressure to the wound and gave them bandaging material. I triaged several pt’s with potentially life threatening wounds, each worse than the next.
A young man walked up to me and asked if I could help him, I asked him, “where are you shot?”, he told me in the chest…I directed him to go sit in my ambulance and an army medic sat with him and started oxygen and bandaging on him; in the mist of the madness I was trying to determine who would be the first to be transported still waiting on the helicopters to land so I could fly out the worst.
While getting more bandaging material off my ambulance several bystanders carried a soldier to my truck that had been shot in the head, he was conscious and breathing, he kept asking me “am I gonna die?”, I told him I was doing the best I could, knowing from experience his situation appeared bleak.
Behind my ambulance several bystanders were doing CPR on a lady that had obviously been fatally shot, in a mas-cal situation you do “the most good for the most people”…that means save the ones you can and black tag the un-salvageable…it’s a harsh truth but effective in this type of situation.
Since the helicopter was still not there I made the decision to take off and transport these two critical patients to Darnell Army Hosp which was about 4 mi away. I quickly dropped off those patients and headed back to the scene with an ER nurse as well to help. In the meantime, several other ambulances had showed up and others had been transported leaving me with one soldier shot in the shoulder, and deservedly last, the shooter was the last to leave the scene and was flown to a hosp approx 30 mil away since the local hosp’s were overwhelmed at this point.
I consider myself and seasoned and experienced medic but no one can prepare you for a war zone, which is exactly what this was…I felt so helpless trying to help so many with such limited resources. Thank God for all the bystanders, fire dept and community EMS services that came to our aide. Thank you officer Kimberly Munley for being so brave and fearlessly doing your job….

The FBI says Abdullah, 53, was fatally shot inside a suburban warehouse Wednesday after firing at agents and resisting arrest. Agents wanted him on charges of weapons violations and conspiracy to sell stolen goods, one of 11 people named in a criminal complaint.

The women are then inspected to see if the firmness is natural, or if it is the result of wearing a bra. If they are found wearing a bra, they are ordered to remove it and shake their breasts, residents said…
‘Al Shabaab forced us to wear their type of full veil and now they order us to shake our breasts,’ a resident, Halima, told Reuters, adding that her daughters had been whipped on Thursday.
‘They are now saying that breasts should be firm naturally, or just flat.’

that yet another Israeli female scientist was winning a major award, Hamas further cracked down on the rights of Palestinian women, this time by banning females from riding motorcycles in the Gaza Strip.
The decree was issued by the Hamas-controlled Interior Ministry, which is in charge of the movement’s security forces in Gaza. They said the ban was in keeping with “Arab traditions.”
This follows Hamas’s recent reported ban on women laughing in public. Public female laughing, they said, was “unIslamic”.

The entire West Side Highway, the roof of the Marriott Hotel directly below, and everything flying through the air, was on fire. I stood there for what seemed an eternally long time, fixated in shock and amazement as the cars on the West Side Highway blew up, one after another. It took me about two seconds to deduce that I needed to get out – immediately. Although we had a good evacuation procedure in place, I was not going to wait for it to be dictated to me. I grabbed my backpack, then a frightened Karen, and stressed in a loud, forceful manor laced with foul language (using everything in the book and then some!) that everyone needed to move now!

Why should Islamism matter to us? Most of our uninformed national conversation about Islam since 9/11 has been about the degree of Muslim support for terrorism. If you’re going to embark on a quest to remake the Middle East, that’s the wrong question. We should be asking: What is the degree of Muslim support for Islamism? The answer to that question is: immense.
Islamism is the official creed of Saudi Arabia, which, as noted above, is risibly portrayed as a U.S. ally against terrorism. The Saudis have lavishly supported and collaborated with the Muslim Brotherhood since the 1950s, enabling the Brothers to spread Islamism globally, including in America and Europe. Islamism, moreover, is the dominant ideology in the Arab world and in much of Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan. It is strengthening in northern and eastern Africa. Despite decades of suppression, it is resurgent in Turkey. Even in Indonesia, where Islamism is not preponderant, it is a growing force.
The fact that Islamists disagree with their terrorist factions on tactics obscures the reality that they heartily agree with the terrorists’ contempt for the West. Most of the places that are sources of Islamist terror do not want Western democracy. They want sharia.

The council of the Town of Pelham enacted a resolution on March 6th 2009 to honor the memory of Aqsa Parvez and other immigrants who struggle with conflicts between their past cultures and the values of Canada.
The Council unanimously supported this resolution and the concept of the memorial has been positively received world wide.

Hizb ut-Tahrir In Mississauga
When the concept of multiculturalism was introduced to Canadians, most assumed it meant “more pavilions at Folkfest”;
The Islamic supremacist Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) Canadian event is publicized on the Hizb ut-Tahrir web site as being sponsored by “Hizb ut-Tahrir Canada” as part of HT’s “2009 Khilafah Campaign,” which included the July 19, 2009 HT event in the Chicago Oak Lawn, IL suburb. HT has advertised this event to be held at the Canadian govt-managed facility in Mississauga for: “Friday, July 31st, 6.30PM to 8.30PM, Frank Bean Lounge — Mississauga Valley Community Center, 1275 Mississauga Valley Blvd, L5A 3R8.” The HT Canada event has also been promoted by a Toronto, Canada website called “TorontoMuslims.com”. (R.E.A.L. contacted this Toronto Muslim website to ask why they were promoting such a supremacist organization’s event, and received no reply.)
The Hizb ut-Tahrir web site promoting the July 31 event in Canada also promotes a pamphlet (page 62) [pdf] that supports killing those individuals who leave Islam as guilty of “treason and a political attack on the Khilafah.”
They’ve de-linked it now, though the title still appears on the website. The “conclusion” starts at page 60, if you’d like to skip ahead to the juicy stuff.
Entering into Islam is essentially entering a contract. There can be no compulsion in it. People enter into Islam based on free will. As there is no force the intellectual conviction must be overwhelming especially since someone entering into Islam willingly knows full well there can be no return to non-Islam due to the death penalty – This cements the need for intellectual conviction. It also prevents those who would seek to publicly become Muslim then publicly apostate in order to bring doubt in the ideology. No ideological state would allow its basis to be openly questioned in society as this would lead to the weakening and possible removal and replacement of the ideology by another.
Apostasy is a question of what kind of person would openly and publicly abandon Islam with full knowledge that they will be killed for it, rather than either keeping it to themselves or leave the Khilafah. Hence, the death penalty only applies on those who in the Khilafah openly leave Islam, and choose to remain in the state despite knowing the law; this is considered an open attack on the basis of the state which is Islam, essentially it is viewed as treason and a political attack on the Khilafah in order to undermine it. No ideology would tolerate this.
