Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

At around the 20 minutes mark the name Jason Kenney is mentioned being the next Conservative Party leader. I wasn’t a supporter of Kenney in his bid for the provincial UCP leadership, though did meet him, hear him out in person during that campaign.
There are a few reasons why Mr. Kenney was removed from AB’s United Conservative Party and none of those reasons have gone away, the people who wanted him removed haven’t left politics, and if Kenney wants back into federal politics he’ll have to do it without AB’s help. We’re lukewarm at best, many of us want him to go away, maybe try the private sector Jason…
Doug Ford is far from being able to muster any western support for a leadership bid… I think those who want a change in federal Conservative leadership should start with knowing their list of potential replacements is mile wide inches deep.
” I think those who want a change in federal Conservative leadership should start with knowing their list of potential replacements is mile wide inches deep.”
Which pretty well describes the commitment to conservative principles of all the aspirants.
I missed when we assented to rule by a Nanny State and signed a waiver allowing our only participation being every half decade, we choose whether the Nanny wears a Red Dress or Blue Dress.
I remember when Brian Mulroney won a huge victory and started a new trend wearing double-breasted suit jackets. WooHoo!
Yeah, U.S. got Ronald Reagan, U.K. got Margret Thatcher, and we got…Brian Mulroney. Blue Dress.
I didn’t consent to a nanny state either. Yet, I encounter many of those who wished this was East Germany on a daily basis.
Mulroney kyboshed the WCC in the West. Then he screwed us over royally.
I never like the prick as a Fed, I hated the prick as premiere & there’s no chance in hell I’ll support the prick in a leadership campaign. He just needs to retire & FOAD.
That said, although I’m not well-informed on each & every ‘conservative’ MP, I don’t know of a single one I’d support as PM. Right now it’s option D) None of the above.
Say, what? There are 575 CCP-aligned groups in Canada?
Now add in the other groups for muz and dots.
And likely also supported with our borrowed tax dollars!
Bingo! No likely about it. We welcome the ticks, encourage them to suck our blood, and watch ourselves die from the political form of lyme disease.
