  1. I must live in a bubble or maybe its just a normal existence far far away from Moronto as I have never heard the term ‘awfulizing’. So I turned to the Google to help me out….

Awfulizing is an Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT) term coined by psychologist Albert Ellis. It means treating a bad or annoying event as if it is 100 percent terrible, ruined, or worse than anything else can be. It turns a normal life problem into a massive panic.

    Core Ideas of Awfulizing

Exaggeration: Viewing a bad thing as a total disaster.

Over-scaling: Rating a minor issue past 100 percent bad, acting like no one has ever survived anything worse.

And a bunch of other slop.

  2. a textbook quintessential white middle aged liberal female.
spouting nonsense. voted, ahem, VOTED into office by other AWFLS.
pls pls oooooh pls STAY in tranna.

    1. Question for Kritter: is the proper abbreviation AWFUL (Affluent White Female Urban Liberal) or AWFL (Affluent White Female Liberal)? The former stresses this as an urban phenomenon (which is largely is cf. “pls STAY in tranna”) but omits the more rural female Hicklib (small town teachers, social workers, government employees and trustafarian-type “artists” make up much of this), an equally annoying creature but who might – might – have a slightly different pedigree.

      1. I don’t know how Canadians use the term, but in the U.S. it can be spelled both ways.
In the U.S. they are the ones largely responsible for what is going on in the Democrat Party presently. Well, them and their eunuchs.
Although one could argue that SRP’s (Stupid Resentful People) take a large portion of the blame. Yes, there’s probably a joke in there if you look.

These are exactly the ones I was mentioning when I said “if we decided to annex Canada, they have to go”…to the benefit of all I should think.

  3. So I guess it will soon look like African cities, full of garbage and human excrement! My friends who live in Toronto, avoid certain areas of the city or just stay in their own small neighbourhood. I wonder if this will be an area to be avoided. Thanks for the heads up.
