Israel’s top officials are warning that Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine is “significantly less” effective at combating the “Delta” variant of the CCP virus.

“We do not know exactly to what degree the vaccine helps, but it is significantly less,” Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett told reporters and cabinet members on July 17. He didn’t elaborate.

    1. We don’t. We don’t have any nukes, the British and French do, but they won’t do it without the Americans. The Americans could if they wanted to, which is why China bought the U.S. presidency.

    1. From what I’ve read in various good sources I think it’s pretty certain that the vaccines are causing the illness. The illness is not happening in spite of the vaccines. They have the same main symptoms as SARS-CoV-2.

    Maybe the smart ones are taking the shot, and they’ll get one hell of a class action suit.

  9. Meh, just catch it, and catch something like it again, and again. This all ends when they stop testing people who are not sick, telling them they are sick when they know they are not.

    And if the hospitals are still being “overrun” perhaps they need to fix the hospitals finally. They were overrun every flu season in every city in every province every year for years and years and years. So we can throw that bullshit excuse out the window now too.

    If they mean less effective against Delta variant than it is against the original virus, that’s not surprising.

    Or do they mean less effective than other vaccines against the Delta variant? Surely it’s too early to know that.

    Seems an unhelpfully vague headline and I wasn’t going to subscribe to read it.

  13. According to the british NHS (don’t forget to clap!), the IFR for “delta” was 0.1% amongst the unvacinated.
    However in people who have had both jabs, the IFR rises to 0.62%.

      Do you even bother to read all of what you post? Is your attention span that short? Must you waste our time?
      Cases, hospitalizations and deaths have all flatlined, aka no growth – since April, ignored since it suit the “highly transmissible” narrative.
      Same in UK, elsewhere. Australia doesn’t even register on recent deaths. Ignorant fear is empowering to fools.
      The smell of irrational ignorance is now the same as the smell of money, which has become the smell of fear.

  16. I’ll throw out this question regarding herd immunity, which is now defined as a very high percentage of the population being vaccinated. Which herd are we talking about? If Canada achieves this herd immunity, but the U.S. and most of the world does not, how effective is it in reality? It’s not like vaccination builds some sort of wall around a given jurisdiction. For this definition of herd immunity to be viable, then aren’t we talking about vaccinating the whole world, which will take not months but decades?

  18. Delta/Indian variant is a nothingburger, less deadly than regular seasonal influenza. But of course we threw out any rational response to anything related to this f**king thing last May. Now it’s just hysterics all the way down.
