Why do we protect @EcoHealthNYC?

Prediction: many years from today, this will be found to be a bioweapons program deliberately repurposed to evade bioweapon restrictions, dressed up as a hippie eco-charity so as not to look like DOD/IC.

The vaccines are “working”….

A vaccine proclaimed as 98% effective combined with a mass vaccination program was supposed to allow a return to normal existence. Judging by what is now happening in the UK, the window for normal existence may be closing rapidly, less than 4 months after most restrictions were lifted.

The culprit? That could never be a vaccine whose effectiveness was deliberately oversold to the public. Rather, the problem arose when the failings were not covered up with the permanent imposition of a bewildering myriad of restrictions on normality. The vaccination program is starting to resemble an inept worker whom the authorities must “protect” from the consequences of his own incompetence, instead of demanding accountability:

“We have the vaccines and we know which public health protections are effective … but the government has removed all public health protections to protect the vaccination programme.”

They had nothing to hide.

That’s why they hid it.

A U.S. partner of the Wuhan Institute of Virology manipulated a coronavirus to generate up to 10,000 times the viral load, violating provisions of its National Institutes of Health contract that forbade unregulated research that could make a disease significantly more dangerous or transmissible.

The information was revealed this week in a letter from the NIH to House Republicans. NIH said the nonprofit partner, EcoHealth Alliance, must submit any unpublished data to the agency by Monday to come back into compliance with its NIH grant. Any new documents could shed further light on the controversial nonprofit’s research.

The EcoHealth project ran afoul of NIH terms because it experimented with changing the spike protein of a bat coronavirus identified by researchers as “poised for human emergence” and tested how well it infected human airway cells, according to the letter released by House Oversight and Reform ranking member James R. Comer, R-Ky., late Wednesday. The committee also released a long overdue progress report detailing the group’s work from 2018 to 2019. EcoHealth, a New York-based intermediary between the NIH and the Wuhan Institute of Virology, did not submit it to NIH until August.

The NIH’s letter states that EcoHealth violated a provision in its contract requiring a report to government funders should one of the viruses in its experiment produce “a one log increase in growth.” In other words, EcoHealth was not supposed to enhance a virus’s ability to grow by a factor of 10 without notifying NIH.

EcoHealth, working with the Wuhan lab, created novel coronaviruses that enhanced viral growth by 1,000-fold to 10,000-fold, orders of magnitude greater than the limit that should have triggered further NIH review, according to agency documents made public in recent weeks. The increase in viral load, which is closely tied to transmissibility, also resulted in more severe disease in mice in some cases.

Fauci lied, people died.

Molecular biologist Richard H. Ebright on Wednesday posted a letter from the National Institute of Health (NIH) showing that an NIH grant did fund gain-of-function research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology, contrary to what Dr. Anthony Fauci had testified to the Senate.

Fauci testified to Senators at a hearing in May that the NIH “has not ever and does not now fund gain-of-function research in the Wuhan Institute of Virology.”

However, the NIH’s October 20 letter to House Oversight Committee Ranking Member James Comer (R-KY) showed that the NIH grant, which was awarded to EcoHealth Alliance and then sub-awarded to the Wuhan lab, funded a research project during 2018 and 2019 that tested “if spike proteins from naturally occurring bat coronaviruses circulating in China were capable of binding to the human ACE2 receptor in a mouse model.”

The letter added: “In this limited experiment, laboratory mice infected with the SHC014 WIV1 bat coronavirus became sicker than those infected with the WIV1 bat coronavirus.”

According to the Department of Health and Human Services, “gain-of-function” research is research that improves the ability of a pathogen to cause disease.

The NIH letter twists itself into a pretzel explaining that the research was not responsible for SARS-CoV-2.

Whatever you say, Skippy.

We need more “rogue” doctors

What crime did Daniel Nagase commit? Did he injure a patient? Far from it. His crime, in the minds of the medical bureaucracy, is simply that he’s a “rogue” doctor.

Nagase claims the drug worked quickly on the patients, allowing all three to leave the hospital within a week. Two of the patients, he claims, were “almost completely better” within 18 hours.

Nagase says that within hours of administering the ivermectin, an AHS medical director barred his patients from receiving from the drug or any of the other medications he had prescribed them.

He said he was removed from the hospital, and “relieved” of his medical duties the following day.

He claims there is “something malicious” about the care being provided to COVID-19 patients in Alberta hospitals.

Losing the war

In the past few weeks I’ve come to the conclusion that most provincial premiers are starting to look like Lyndon Johnson during the Vietnam era. Their Chief Medical Officers, in turn, remind me of Robert McNamara. By 1967 LBJ and McNamara were under growing attack for the failure of their Vietnam strategy and yet stubbornly insisted that the war was being won. In 1968 along came the Tet Offensive which collapsed public support for the current strategy and ended the political careers of both men.

Fast forward to today’s pandemic, and it would seem that the Tet Offensive is now upon us.

Six months after receiving the second dose of the two-shot vaccine from Pfizer Inc and BioNTech SE, many recipients no longer have vaccine-induced antibodies that can immediately neutralize worrisome variants of the coronavirus, a new study suggests.

One Flu Out Of The Wuhan Nest

Via Yuri DeiginWell, this is interesting. So EcoHealth and WIV *were* proposing to create novel cleavage sites in SARS-like bat CoVs to possibly use them as self-disseminating animal vaccines.

Peter Daszak and the EcoHealth Alliance (EHA) proposed injecting deadly chimeric bat coronaviruses collected by the Wuhan Institute of Virology into humanised and “batified” mice.

The EHA / WIV proposal (named ‘DEFUSE’) was ultimately rejected for full funding (but leaving open the door for partial funding), in part because it mis-interpreted the GOF guidelines.

In other words, a branch of the federal government had already judged aspects of EHA’s research, and the corresponding shared research plan with the WIV, as falling under the definition of GOF, only for HHS to approve similar work without P3CO review in 2018 and 2019.

The documents seen by DRASTIC were made available by an anonymous source. They detail past achievements and planned experiments in collaboration with researchers from Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV), East China Normal University (ECNU), UNC-Chapel Hill, Duke-National University in Singapore, the USGS National Wildlife Health Center (NWHC) and Palo Alto Research Center (PARC).

Via Zerohedge;

NEWLY RELEASED documents provide details of U.S.-funded research on several types of coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology in China. The Intercept has obtained more than nine hundred pages of documents detailing the work of the EcoHealth Alliance, a U.S.-based health organization that used federal money to fund bat coronavirus research at the Chinese laboratory. The trove of documents includes two previously unpublished grant proposals that were funded by the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, as well as project updates relating to the EcoHealth Alliance’s research, which has been scrutinized amid increased interest in the origins of the pandemic.

The documents were released in connection with ongoing Freedom of Information Act litigation by The Intercept against the National Institutes of Health. The Intercept is making the full documents available to the public.

“This is a roadmap to the high-risk research that could have led to the current pandemic,” said Gary Ruskin, executive director of U.S. Right To Know, a group that has been investigating the origins of Covid-19.

Samples From Early Wuhan COVID Patients Had Genetically Modified Henipah, One of Two Types of Viruses Sent From Canadian Lab

The evidence was first found by Dr. Steven Quay, a Seattle-based physician-scientist and former faculty member at the Stanford University School of Medicine, who looked at early COVID-19 samples uploaded by scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology (WIV) shortly after China informed the World Health Organization about the SARS-CoV-2 outbreak.

YEKATERINBURG, Russia — Patients with unexplained pneumonias started showing up at hospitals; within days, dozens were dead. The secret police seized doctors’ records and ordered them to keep silent. American spies picked up clues about a lab leak, but the local authorities had a more mundane explanation: contaminated meat.

It took more than a decade for the truth to come out.

In April and May 1979, at least 66 people died after airborne anthrax bacteria emerged from a military lab in the Soviet Union. But leading American scientists voiced confidence in the Soviets’ claim that the pathogen had jumped from animals to humans. Only after a full-fledged investigation in the 1990s did one of those scientists confirm the earlier suspicions: The accident in what is now the Russian Urals city of Yekaterinburg was a lab leak, one of the deadliest ever documented.

PJ Media;

Over the last several weeks, we’ve been bringing you Jen Van Laar’s shocking exclusive reports at RedState about a Chinese defector, reportedly working with the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA), who claims to have “direct knowledge” of China’s bioweapons program. The defector allegedly has evidence proving that SARS-CoV-2 was created by the Chinese military and released from a lab. Now, we know the defector’s name.

RedState:

RedState’s sources confirmed that the defector is, in fact, Dong [Jingwei], that he was in charge of counterintelligence efforts in China, and that he flew to the United States in mid-February, allegedly to visit his daughter at a university in California. When Dong landed in California he contacted DIA officials and told them about his plans to defect and the information he’d brought with him. Dong then “hid in plain sight” for about two weeks before disappearing into DIA custody.

Spy Talk, a website that reports on U.S. intelligence, defense, and foreign policy, alleges that the information provided by Dong was the impetus behind the Biden administration making a 360-degree turn on the lab-leak theory.
