Snowflakes Unite!

Imagine if you were a time traveler and said to the troops storming the beaches on D-Day that 75 years later their descendants would publicly acknowledge that they were offended and hurt because a baseball player wore a red hat which read “Make America Great Again”. They would think you to be clinically insane, yes?!?

Lest We Forget

Further to Kate’s earlier post, I wanted to share two photos captured on my camera on June 6, 2019 at Juno Beach, Normandy, France.

The real culprits behind the lack of poppy wearing are the ungrateful zealots on the Far Left. They’ve spun a narrative that wearing a poppy is pro-war and, as these photos show, would force them to admit that white men actually have made positive contributions in the world. That’s a leap they’re unwilling to make.

Trudeau’s Hollow Victory

Conrad Black sums up the recent election:

In fact, Canada’s greatest problems are capital flows and national unity. There is a torrid drain of investment capital in Canada, as the world stays away and Canadians invest capital elsewhere. Under-appreciation of Canadian federalism will not take long to emerge in Quebec and Alberta. By far the strongest performance by a party leader on election night was from the Bloc Québécois’ Yves-François Blanchet. He had the same stature, mannerisms, haircut, glasses and witty but crisp and direct way of formulating the complexities of Quebec’s status as premier Daniel Johnson (1966-1968), whose slogan was “equality or independence.” Blanchet came from nowhere and almost won more votes than the Trudeau Liberals. (Only twice before has the Bloc won more Quebec votes than the Liberals.) Blanchet expressed his reverence for René Lévesque, Quebec’s first separatist premier (1976-1985), but he is not advocating Lévesque’s “sovereignty-association;” he is advocating sovereignty.

You read it here first:

Law Enforcement versus the Intel Community. That’s the battle we will likely see unleashed when the Horowitz report comes out next week. The New York Times came out Saturday with info clearly leaked from DOJ that can be summarized simply–the FBI was relying on the intel community (products from the CIA and NSA) under the leadership of Jim Clapper. If they relied on bad, unverified information it ain’t their fault. They trusted the spies.
