Massive Protests In Spain

Endorsed: Leftist governments in Europe don’t care if people are mad, and they’re not afraid that the people will do anything. Some lamppost hangings may be required if the people are to get the message across.

Meanwhile, over at the utterly captured CBC…

I flew into YYC last night. This morning, I was exploring Calgary a little. I think it’s safe to say that the city is no longer a “conservative” metropolis.

I met some longtime friends for breakfast. Very nice people both. Very well educated both. But, during breakfast, when one of my friends expressed exasperation about the “craziness during Covid”, especially in regard to the health & welfare of her grandchildren, I chimed in, “Oh, you mean even more so now after the Anthony Fauci debacle?” She shut me down in record time with: “Yeah, we complete disagree with you about that so let’s not talk about it.”

I did, of course, say no more because long ago I realized that each person had to figure things out for themselves, but I got to thinking ever since, how on earth could anyone defend Anthony “Fifth Amendment” Fauci after what was revealed this past summer?!? I ask that question sincerely and simply do not understand how anyone could. But in the interest of fairness, I asked Grok.

Wednesday On Turtle Island

Conman Carney’s Canada:    Victor Davis Hanson – The wrong fight.    Socialist Toronto.    Diary quotas.    The Indians are upset again.    Importing woke professors.

The Democratic Party’s America:    VDH – Progressive regression.    Lessons from 9/11.

Stories You Won’t Find At Carney’s CBC:    Muslim values.    Paul Joseph Watson – Freaking out and this is awkward.    No to blasphemy laws.    Don’t upset the Muslims.

Your morning meme.        Another meme.

The Fourth Emergency Service

On maths purged of “whiteness”; on the alleged thrill of not owning stuff; and on the crime-fighting powers of the “non-binary” barista:

“Now that I think about it, like, I’m more qualified than a cop to come deal with half the situations that we would call them for,” says our coffee-serving, police-defunding “they/them, 22.”

“I’m a Starbucks barista at a drive-through,” says they. “I’ve de-escalated situations with people with guns… I’ve cooled shit down faster and better than a cop could.”

Readers are welcome to share clips of lively scenes to test this rather boastful hypothesis. It would, I think, have the makings of a compelling reality TV show. With preening, mouthy woke-lings encountering the realities they’ve so carefully ignored.

The subsequent tears and meltdowns could constitute a drinking game.
