Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick

Liquor stores and check cashing places are doing great.
Ah, it’s nothing.
The Mayor blames Amazon … nothing to see here …
I have noticed that all the cities governed by Democrat Black Women have descended into hell.
Years ago on the Roy Green show, this was posted “Why Communities Crumble”. It bears reprinting –
1. There isn’t anyone smart enough to maintain infrastructure.
2. Money to support the community is stolen quicker than its handed out.
3. People who like infrastructure and not crime, move away and take their tax dollars with them.
Think positively! Just imagine the space this will open up to the poor homeless!!!
And illegal immigrants!!!
Great. Now the thieves will take BART to suburban stores … reverse commuting to their business of shoplifting, err looting
Rome didn’t have to fall either.. But it did.. Over the hump with fat, lazy and stupid .. Where the cure is as unbearable as the disease.. What do you do?.. Nothing..
I wonder what this does for the CRE fiscal problems on the horizon.
What companies advertise on American mainstream media. The message doesn’t appear to be getting across.
must be white privilege again.
Blame Cracker McWhitey
KPMG is a store?

thanks , i know what you mean . i am a complete computer rube. and i was good at it 50 years ago.
Yeah, I was great with computers when they had green or amber text and everything was cd\
Just got too busy with life to keep up.
50 years.
half a century.
my 15 yrs exposure to those thundering mainframes and the CLACK CLACK CLACK of the hollerith cards and the 15X11 fanfold printout. we had a CDC cyber 73 stacking the stuff almost non stop for half the day sometimes.
l would chuckle at the knownots going on about how computers save paper by allowing one to correct stuff before committing to paper.
what actually happened folks would print 25 copies until the ‘got it right’
my fav mainframw was the Burroughs B6700. dual consoles, incredible power inthe hands of the senior operator.
one day the student workstations were all occupied so l went into the computer room, unplugged the system status display and converted it to a regular edit and process workstation.
got scolded by the boss monday so l reminded him l was the *only* one knew how to do that.
l also secretly got ahold of the dialup number and started doing my assaignments at home using a C64 and their acoustic coupler as a remote workstation.
the noise cost me half my hearing but paid for the house lm in right now.
I love stories like this. Part of what makes SDA so great.
Anywhere else on the internet they ask me who let me out of the home. Here I feel like a kid.
SDA gang, I knew FORTRAN, COBOL and Assembler and three or for packaged programs for economists during the early 1970s, when we all used computer cards. Slowly over time I moved away from being a computer jockey. Just know WORD and EXCEL today, like any other schmuck. If anything difficult shows up on my tablet and desktop, I ask my dear wife for help. She has a bachelor’s degree in social work. She learned everything about computers from her three grown sons

Congratulations San Francisco!
I congratulate SF on their ad hoc reparations program
Most have Blackrock and Vanguard as major institutional investors.
Let Fink figure it out.
Burn it all down.
I thought Frisco was a sewer when I was down there in 2010. Looks like it got a lot worse.
Now do Vancouver. canaduhs answer to SanFran.
If Macy’s Union Square closing isn’t a serious wake up call for the cities Board of Stuporvisors and the black-racist, druggie, Mayor … then NOTHING will disturb their slumber.
Macy’s Union Square used to be a seasonal pilgrimage for our family to walk around the entire block … looking at the display windows decorated for Christmas … then purchasing many of our Christmas gifts there … or at Neiman Marcus … or other Union Square shops. Now … it is all crawling with thieves, druggies, “the unhoused”, and assorted bad actors. Nobody in their right minds would take their family there now.
Macy’s Union Square is second ONLY to NYC’s flagship store.
We used to park at the 6th street garage and walk up the hill, across Market street to Union Square (avoiding the traffic and FULL parking lot under Union Square Park). There’s nothing you could do to MAKE me replicate that routine today. No way. I treasure my life more than that.
Kenji, have you heard any whisperings of a deliberate downgrading of property values so the cabal or Chinese can swoop to buy up the land? This feels like a land grab in the making. Too coordinated and systematic for the dindoos to be doing so many smash-n-grabs without arrests and prosecutions.
That could be true. However, the ChiComs have been buying up Silicon Valley property at full price, at a frightening clip. I believe all they need is a $500k “investment” in America … and they will automatically gain citizenship. They are buying and immediately developing property for millions upon millions. Silicon Valley is virtually OWNED by the ChiComs
Doesn’t have to be ChiComms. Could be just Democrat politicians with ‘investments’ in real estate.
I remember there was a song about going to SsnFrancisco and wearing flowers in your and and meeting gentle people there. I take it that that is no longer true lol
“If Macy’s Union Square closing isn’t a serious wake up call for the cities Board of Stuporvisors and the black-racist, druggie, Mayor … then NOTHING will disturb their slumber.”
Nothing will.
When Nordstrom hit the road, (guaranteeing the eventual destruction of the Westfield Mall when Bloomies does likewise), the only thing they did was ladle out the cope.
They’ll do the same with Macy’s. It will always be somebody else’s fault with them.
isnt it true? *generally* speaking much easier cheaper and
way faster to destroy than build.
so how long to build up this roster of big companies setting up in your beautiful welcoming downtown and then a cpl of the very wrong democraps in powah and a big fat WHOMP sound as your financial infrastructure crashes.
what signs are there Detoilet bouncing back to its former powerhouse status?
do a youtube search ‘americas declining cities’
Brooks Bros. CLOSING!? Where will Willie Brown get his custom suits? The ones with the Velcro fly.
When Kamala was with him, her mouth really did the talking. Now, as VP, not so much.
Same place he’s always gotten them: Wilkes Bashford.
