  1. If it was “marc in calgary” who was driving this truck, would the article start with, “marc in calgary has driven his truck full of plutonium into the 51st at Idylwyld overpass for the 6th time this year and now says he’s trying to cut down on his drinking” ??

Won’t someone do something about this?

    1. “marc in calgary” would have his ass howled to jail so fast, that “marc in calgary” would not have had the time to post anything. “Sign of the times”… Have a great weekend, marc! And avoid oversized loads!

  2. migawd migawd migawd.
like so many things, there’s a ‘tradeoff’ here.
the ‘tradeoff’ l see is the huge ‘savings’ in training, licensing and wages ‘hiring’ schmucks that know the utter MINIMUM to get behind the wheel of a big rig. hoping ‘nothing goes wrong’ no ‘backing into the only available spot in the loading dock’ or a particularly challenging sequence of hills and turns.

    etc etc.

and bridge clearances that need an accompanying INSTANTANEOUS recognition ‘is it enough?’ (has to do with being able to READ THE ‘NIKUCF height sign in darkness and bad weather for instance.)

low standards are going to increase costs of damaged and destroyed vehicles, insurance of some sort, delays in shipments and the very sad realities of traffic fatalities for which NO amount of money can compensate.

so have we come to the intersection (pun intended) point of the tradeoff? how many more hockey teams need to be slaughtered before das Libperalzh get off their duffs and CORRECT THIS???
kill them Ms Karma. kill 20 of them for every citizen whose existence is snuffed out for expediency
and cash and votes ‘down the line’

  3. and another thing ABSK, will Ottawas (note the spelling) be in a position to *foist* these hit-and-run artists on you if, miracle of miracles, you become an independent nation with your OWN trucking regulations? hmmm? here’s a ‘tradeoff’ think of the multiple millions in savings in avoiding overpass repairs and traffic disruption.
    (howcum SK has a Liberal MP??? jist askin’ . . . . . . .)

    1. howcum SK has a Liberal MP???

Cause just like everywhere else, there are stupid people in Saskatchewan as well….and he’s an injun so I guess all those people voted for it.

Hey, Alberta has three liberal PMs so that means there’s a lot of retards here also.

  4. I do think he responsibilities of blame goes to the trucking transport company. The driver is going to be covering his ass with excuses. What pisses me off is that it will go thru the insurance company & they will just settle because they will raise insurance rates on everyone to gain their money back.

    1. Printed in what language? Your English language signs … sorry … Indigenous Esperanto language … cannot be read or understood by the average Singh behind the wheel anyway.

        1. Indeed … I see the damaged Grain Bin had an “OVERSIZED LOAD” sign attached to it.
I look forward to the pictograph of that message. Smirk.

    1. Millions of them. At least it seems like millions, several hundred thousand for sure. Lots….

    1. The Sask. government just announced they’re spending $8.6 Billion to raise all the overpasses throughout the Province. Government solves everything.

  5. There was nothing about the carrier being released yet. Because this involves a grain bin I am going to say it probably was not a guy hailing from Punjab that did this. The carrier was probably the dealer’s own truck delivering the bin to a farm. Many of those guys have no business behind the wheel of any vehicle.

    1. Yet I’m willing to bet the Dealer had trouble finding a driver to … do the driving that Canadian natives just won’t do … for the cut rate wages offered.

  6. I don’t need to see video of trucks driven by idiots, I see them all the time.

Yesterday I had to back up 5 car lengths because bro couldn’t manage the corner coming out of the grocery store, and DIDN’T CARE if he hit me. He was coming out, and too bad so sad for any cars in the way. Lucky for me I had room behind me. And this is Caledonia Ontario by the way, not Brampton Ontario.
