Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Not enough Linux on these blogs.
I’d just like to interject for a moment. What you’re referring to as Linux, is in fact, GNU/Linux, or as I’ve recently taken to calling it, GNU plus Linux.
There’s no reason to think that’s specifically GNU/Linux. The command has been around since about 1970 in Unix, and has (probably) been in every version of Linux since, leaving a trail of tears and anguish in its wake.
My next band, Blog Linux. We’ll be a rare treat, you see.
From time to time, my colleagues and I were encouraged to take courses in public speaking. She should too.

Install new software and your machine doesn’t work properly any longer – that used to be an expected outcome.
