Yep. I use a 5/8 Boker and have a Feather SS kamisori for traveling so I don’t need to strop on the road. Both give a glass-smooth shave without marks or razor burn that no multi-bladed razor comes close to matching.
But great commercial. I said “F-you” to Gillette after that disastrous “is this the best a man can get” Super Bowl ad a few years ago (and boycotted parent co Proctor & Gamble to boot) and was thinking of trying Harry’s until I took the plunge in straightedge shaving. Far better choice for me, and in hindsight it was even a better decision. Why give cash to woke a-holes who despise you?

I shave with a wakizashi. The katana is too long for indoor work.
Put the katana in a stand and draw your face across it. Problem solved.
Heh – The wakizashi rests peacefully by the nightstand, the Katana hangs readily in the home office, the Tanto aesthetically placed in an ornate nook near the bedroom door. All was good with the world.
I’ve sent it out to my manly friends and ladies I know who prefer paying the “man price” for razors. They haven’t set up shipping to Canada yet. Maybe the “Venus” shaving system Justin prefers will mean Jeremy’s Razors gets banned as wrong-shave.

Shave? HA! I get 3-4 inches cut off my beard a few times a year at the hairdresser’s. This mug hasn’t seen sunshine for forty years.

Yeah, neighbour/family friend sorta thing, with a salon downtown. Took a few years to train her how to hack & slash this thing, she been doing fine.
Nice add, but I’ll stick to my safety razor, mostly because I bought a lifetime supply of Feather blades back before e-Bay became Chinese.
Feather Pro single-edged blades are insanely sharp. Learning to use them is like practicing holding a rattlesnake next to your face: sooner or later you’re getting bit. I’ve switched to their ProGuard SE blades that deliver the same velvety-smooth result without the impending bloodshed, when my straightedge isn’t honed.
Haven’t used a DE safety razor, but it’s much cheaper buying DE blades than the $5 multibladed scam sold by Gillette.

I suffer from essential tremor, so even a DE safety razor has its challenges; a trade off between holding the razor accurately and shaking a lot to taking relaxed swipes at my face but not shaking.
My styptic pencil is my friend, needles to say.

Beard and ‘stash trimmed to a 1/4″ once a month by my barber. Daily tiding up with cheapo disposable safety razors… they almost pay me to buy them.

Every grooming product I buy I scan for the Gillette name so I can avoid it. Gillette is for fairies.

Sad to say, we have no choice in Canada. The payoff to the bought and paid for media, like Bell(owns CTV) is from our tax dollars. I’m sure this effects no regulatory decisions from the CRTC and other agencies.
Everyone knows the CBC is a Pravda/Der Sturmer type ‘news organ’, but you’d be surprised how many ‘ordinary Canadians’ don’t know that CTV, Global and a laundry list of ‘private’ news media get payoff money from the Government.
It’s so wrong, but I have to give the Liberals credit. It works. They get the message they want out of these media whores.

Ooops, I’m dirt poor, so I don’t go to a barber or hairdresser, I just shave my head once a year at the beginning of summer, and shave my face a couple times a week.
