Now approaching nearly a year after the April 7, 2018 alleged chemical attack in Douma, Syria — which the White House used as a pretext to bomb Syrian government facilities and bases throughout Damascus — a BBC reporter who investigated the incident on the ground has issued public statements saying the “Assad sarin attack” on Douma was indeed “staged”.
Riam Dalati is a well-known BBC Syria producer who has long reported from the region. He shocked his nearly 20,000 twitter followers on Wednesday, which includes other mainstream journalists from major outlets, by stating that after a “six month investigation” he has concluded, “I can prove without a doubt that the Douma Hospital scene was staged.” […]
The BBC’s Dalati made the statements in response to a lengthy investigative report by James Harkin writing for The Intercept. Harkin had examined the scenes and physical environs of the alleged Douma attack and interviewed eyewitnesses on site. His report paints a complex picture of propaganda and deeply compromised rebel sources such as Saudi-backed Jaish al Islam, which had control of Douma amidst a Syrian government onslaught to retake the town.

When the story first appeared, I read chemical weapons experts who said if Sarin Gas was used … as reported … then the devastation would have been complete and total. There would be NO Muslim activist “Doctors” hosing-down weepy, befuddled, children. Anyone within that proximity to the victims would be dying too. THAT was the moment I knew this was a mass media FRAUD perpetrated by Obama’s anti-Assad, radical terrorist, Arab-Springtimers. Fraud.
And the most charitable thing I’ll say about MY President’s response … is that his hand was forced. Forced by the Generals who are now denouncing his withdrawal from Syria. Say … you don’t think MY President took their Syrian WAR away from them … because of this report of the gas attack FRAUD? Nooooo … it couldn’t be! … ?
– Not necessarily true. Sarin is not easy to make, and in the Tokyo subway attacks it accomplished little because Aum Shinrikyo rushed the batch and skipped a couple steps.
Again, Assad and Russia and the BBC and SJW’s everywhere etc etc etc all swear this attack was staged – but it’s the sort of thing Assad has done several times before. He’s one guy I won’t cut any slack – and I’ll believe Bellingcat far sooner than I’ll believe the BBC.

Gas is a clumsy weapon. Gas employed in war has had poor results. In contrast, 100 artillery pieces would provide pinpoint accuracy and could kill a crapload of people in little time.
Critical thinking people who looked at the forensic evidence of the yellow chlorine cylinders, roof top impact sites, state of dead bodies, etc., said a long time ago this incident was probably staged.

I’m not a Putin fan or fan of Russia, but I don’t think Assad or the Russians were behind this gas attack, IF it even occurred.
