It’s been two days since NBC’s exclusive reporting that the Senate Intelligence Committee has found no material evidence of collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia, and as of yet none of the three major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, and NBC) have given it even a single second of airtime in their evening newscasts. Considering these networks have given the Russia probe a massive 2,202 minutes of airtime, their silence on this major development is deafening.

Well, since it would seem there is no further “Trump!-screeching” to be had from the Russia collusion issue, the media has probably simply abandoned that line of approach and gone on to another more newsworthy one: the Wall, Trump declaring a state of emergency, etc., etc.

Turdeau and his father are not unique in this history. The difference today versus the ’90’s is that the western economy is collapsing. Investment capital has moved out and the lost jobs and economic future are vanishing. My nephew who as a drilling consulting business took 2 calls in the past year for his services. He is relocating to Texas. Canada was a international leader in energy technology, Leduc was a hub. All of this is being lost and will not return. $250 – $300 billion of capital investment has been lost in oil and LNG projects.
Western Canada is experiencing today what eastern Canada will inevitably experience as the money dries up. When the federal government can no longer live up to their non-funded promises Canada will collapse as fingers are pointed. I do expect a Western exit as a result.

I might have my reservations about Trump but I have real fear of the waning power of the MSM. Trump’s greatest contribution to the USA culture over the past 3 years is exposing the media’s leftist agenda. The Mueller invetigation is into its 3rd year. A investigative team packed with Democrats. It provides a veil of legitimacy for the political undermining of a GOP POTUS. Trump is not unique as he fields these attacks. He is unique in how he responds.
All people have to do to understand the media agenda is go back and study the headlines of every GOP POTUS or nominee going back to Goldwater. Each was attacked for their intelligence, mental or physical fitness or for their ultra reactionary views. These attacks have gotten more extreme through the years. IMHO much of this is directed by socialist and communist forces who will do anything to weaken the USA and her ability to exert influence globally.
This MSM issue in the USA will have resonance in Canada. Canadian media is openly left wing. If the MSM in the USA is exposed Canadians might start to question their intake of what passes for unbaised journalism in Canada. Canadian journalism has never asked the key questions faced by this nation nor have they held politicians to account for their abject failures.
The only “Russian collusion” that happened was Hillary & Co. selling 20% of the US supply to Uranium One.

To understand how irrelevant the MSM is in Canada, you just need to look at their financials. They are all going broke and fast. Cable TV viewership is in freefall and advertisers are bailing out.

In honor of the first men who saw that the west was not free, I propose we rename our capitol to Dumont. In a truly free place, the citizens, if truly free people, would never allow a bureaucracy to build palaces for itself, so all the oak desks, limestone facades, prime real estate, etc. will be auctioned off.
Government business, what little there is with truly limited government, will be conducted out of simple functional buildings, like quonsets. Basic commercial office space, filled with generic office furniture. The hearing for your criminal matter should be in just another cubicle.
Trump is the only recent president who has stood up for the USA and its interests. He ran on Make America Great Again. Hillary’s natural counter was to paint him a traitor to undermine his base.
