Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

The only reason Obama has not been impeached already is because of the optics of removing the first black president from office. His administration has been using this to get away with criminal behavior for a long time.
It goes a bit further than just the optics, I’m afraid to say.
Even the mere threat of impeachment would no doubt trigger massive rioting in every American city.
As most sane people would not stand by and watch their wealth, businesses and properties destroyed before their eyes, it would be no stretch to assume that impeachment might even be the trigger for civil war.
And, when the New York Times doesn’t cover it, that means it didn’t really happen.

Expect the emails to miraculously reappear after the midterm elections. Alternatively, they could just ask the NSA for a copy.
There will be no impeachment. The ruling elite of the USA is quite satisfied with their President, with a few who actually don’t like him, but overall, he’s one a’ the boys, and the elite haven’t suffered under his rule.
Republicans versus Democrats is theater for the masses, nothing more. Obama will finish his term and will retire to his multimillion dollar mansion in Hawaii, complete with a dozen 24/7 bodyguards. He will sell his memoirs to the Library of Congress for an unprecedented fee and live happily ever after.
We’ll see how badly the next election is fcuked up by the RINOs and Dems, and maybe Americans will awaken, but I doubt it.
Here is a funny take on the subject:

The IRS maintains an Internal Revenue Manual, and chapter 10, section 3 of that manual deals with standards for using email. Those standards, which apply to “all IRS employees,” make it clear that paper copies of all emails must be maintained.
Section 3 states that, “All federal employees and federal contractors are required by law to preserve records containing adequate and proper documentation of the organization, functions, policies, decisions, procedures, and essential transactions of the agency.”
“If you create or receive email messages during the course of your daily work, you are responsible for ensuring that you manage them properly,” it adds. “The Treasury Department’s current email policy requires emails and attachments that meet the definition of a federal record be added to the organization’s files by printing them (including the essential transmission data) and filing them with related paper records.”
As many already commented, if the current occupant of the White House did not read it in the paper, he does not know.
On the other hand it is common knowledge that the mass media in general, lie, tell half the truth of not truth.
Confused?
A LIV is not.
That the bandits are so blatant is revealing.
Simple way to find the truth, charge each individual whose emails are “missing”.Failure to preform duties, destruction of government property, lying to authority.
Just like in High River, as “no one” gave the order, charge each individual involved with break and enter, vandalism, theft and then lying to a peace officer.
You would be amazed how fast we would know who, what and what the hell they where thinking.
Note to self to add to the list of rules to live by, right after “Don;t start a fight you can’t finish”:
“Don’t elect a President you can’t impeach.”
I would like nothing better than to see 0bama impeached. And he deserves it at least a dozen times over.
But “presidency-ending information”? Not likely. Our economy could drop back down to the stone age. And 0bama could gift our entire nuclear arsenal to al Qaeda. And there are still enough people who would still support him. In their minds, whatever he does is automaticelly right.
He will quite rightly plead ignorance. I remember the description of his time as President of the Harvard law Society/Review.
He was only interested in being President of the organization and contributed nothing.
He is an intellectual masterbator.
“Even the mere threat of impeachment would no doubt trigger massive rioting in every American city.” pilgrim
Nonsense, the African-American knows that the Constitution is the bed-rock of his Rights. Politicians, Black or White, are like Buses; another one comes every 15 minutes. Impeachment is a constitutional process.
JMHO
Either that is adept parody or a complete pie-in-the-sky fantasy. Every AA knows his rights are guaranteed by only the Democratic Party and nobody else.
So, the IRS and the Liberal Party in Ontario had the same IT staff working on their computers, then?
That guy certainly gets around.
That and “carefully pick the hill you chose to die on.”
People pretty much get the governments they want or deserve. Ontario provincial election a case in point. Crying about the results is scapegoating to a large extent. Governance is a critical part of any society and yet I suggest the majority in democratic countries take little part in the process. It is a failure of civic responsibility but heh, who really cares. Casting a vote is not the beginning or end of democratic responsibility.
So when that crooked politican gets exposed that is just the obvious fallout. What happens behind closed doors almost always stays there. There is a huge portion of our society that makes it’s way in life by finding ways of taking
money from more productive countrymen. It makes no difference what political strip. The governing process has been reduced to subjective finger pointing which leads to zero accountability.
IMO all this will go on until there is no more money or credit left.
If you want another simple example of how society is collapsing just check out your community service groups. You will probably find that there are a lot fewer than what you remember growing up. You probably will find that members today are mostly all senior citizens. My point in this is that as these groups die out society will lose a huge civilizing agent within communities. In many cases these service clubs took over what churches used to do before they emptied out. It will become a much harsher world when these groups are gone.
What force can counter what I describe. In my simple way I suggest the people have to take the power of the purse back. If the money is not there then it cannot be spent. Yes, I am talking about mandatory balanced budgeting. Politicos hate talk like that. Whether Conservative, Liebel or Dipper they ALL live by the cheque book. Much better that than having to force people to make hard decisions about scarce resources. It is all about growing up and taking personal responsibility.
I agree. But the whole system is corrupt from the top to the bottom so we will never see this. The government is the enemy of the people.
