  1. Donald Trump is the biggest horse’s ass to ever assume the office of the presidency.

    1. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA…..No…Biden has that wrapped up followed up by Comrade Obama. Oh by the way, did you see that the U.S. is cutting a deal with the government of Venezuela which will DOUBLE the U.S. oil reserves?

      1. It appears that the US has become adept at taking control of other nations’ resources that are under its military or economic thumb.

        1. So? You’ve let other people do it to you, you’re continuing to let other people do it to you, so why not us?

It would be ideal if you would snap out of it, re-industrialize, and become a fair trading and security partner, but that doesn’t seem to be the way you want to go. So…

          1. The point is that Canadians see that and say to themselves “It’s not going to happen here.”

We might have to wait out the Trump presidency, and we’re going to take some lumps, but American imperialism can go get buggered.

          2. It appears Canada would rather give its natural resources to China than sell them to America.

          3. KM is a communist Chinese agent posing as a ‘fierce’ Canadian rodent. She doesn’t consider the Belt and Road to be imperialist.

          4. KM needs to look up Vivian Krause. The deadlock and blocking of Oilsands development IS a US operation to maintain a strategic reserve for after the easy/cheap Saudi (and other allies) oil is gone. She followed the money trail and makes a compelling case.

        2. Meanwhile the corrupt and treasonous Liberal government gives away our resources to 3rd world nations, to Indians, and anyone else who scratches their backs.

And millions of imbeciles on the far left of the intelligence spectrum and the political spectrum, but I repeat myself, raise their retarded elbows.

    2. “Donald Trump is the biggest horse’s ass to ever assume the office of the presidency.”

You and everyone like you actually caused this to happen.

      Suck it up, loser.

      1. “You and everyone like you actually caused this to happen.”

Traditional conservatives? You might be right. Many of them voted for Trump in the last election, although more than a few would like their votes back.

        1. “Traditional conservatives? ”

No, ‘Progressive’ Conservatives like you (Aka Liberal Lite).

          1. The Democrat Party has been taken over by crazies … who make Trumps “crazy” appear quite normal.

The Democrat Party is now the ENEMY of NORMAL.

    3. You’re missing the point of the purpose. This act of renaming the Lake is pure gaslighting. It’s going to end Carney’s political career in the long run. The purpose was to wind up the Liberal supporters to get the Anti-US fever to its highest pitch. It’s Carney’s weakness, because his whole political persona is based on “standing tough” (hence, elbows up nonsense). His political platform is pure “anti-US/ anti-Trump.”

That creates a problem. Carney has, asbolutely, no choice but to capitulate on a trade deal with the US. He realizes this. He tried to soften the blow to his constituency a couple weeks ago by having the CBC roll out guests saying as much after a long term of saying the opposite. It was political cover. Carney walking away from negotiations the other day was to stall, and buy time. He ran right to the media (his media) to whine about how things went. Trump, you might have noticed stayed very quiet for a few days. Then he came out (arguably in response to Ford) with the Lake America spiel. That wasn’t pettiness. That was Trump playing the Canadian Liberal supporters of Carney. He wants them so rabid and pissed off, that any capitulation by Carney becomes an albatross around Carney’s neck. Most of his supporters don’t understand the nuances of economic negotiation. They understand personal power, and immediate gratification…full stop.

So, Carney gets to decide…capitulation (and bye bye policitical career), or stand “tough” and trigger the six month termination clause in the USMCA. Either way, he’s finished. The latter just will take a little longer.

      1. I think Carney actually believes he can successfully ride out massive unemployment and insane levels of business bankruptcy in Canada without suffering any consequences.

It’s going to be great entertainment watching it all play out.

        1. Unless the legacy media says otherwise, Kanadians are stupid enough to give Carnage a pass. Never, ever underestimate the stupidity of the average Kanadian. And, you just cannot fix stupid.

      2. “That creates a problem. Carney has, absolutely, no choice but to capitulate on a trade deal with the US. He realizes this.”

        EVERYONE realizes this.

(well, everyone except KM, canuckguy and Rusty, maybe…)

    4. Aw, the poor mammal’s feewings are hurted by the bad orange man.

I’ll take Lake America over Lake Xi any day. Those are the choices on offer.

    5. Look in the mirror along with every other Canadian and see just how weak and silly this country has become .
Were only going through the motions of a viable country, and only a small percentage realise we are getting pegged good and hard by the most wicked, crooked , pathetic politicians ever getting the chance to take power.
And it’s not Trump there “Canadian” , we put them there after COVID , after a leader said we where a post- national state, and well the dunce was right and this is what that meant.
      Absolute Chaos, and unaccountably.
Quit fkng whining about Trump, really who gives a fk. We’re our own problem.
And if enough Canadians take ownership of that, then and only then will the country start to right itself.
Otherwise it just keeps getting worse.
Until someone responsibly channels the hate where it belongs towards the corruption and lawlessness in our own country.
If that’s even possible now .
I cringe everytime someone calls Trump a bully, who the hell are we seven year olds , or soft skulled retards in hockey helmets ? It’s one or the other.
Personally I never would have guessed how soon and how pathetic this country could become, at it’s own hand.

    6. Good morning comrade, how’s the weather in Beijing today? All good in the pig farm? Hopefully you get a full ration of gruel today and no beatings.

    7. Yeah, but he’s MY horses ass who kicks the shit out of anyone who comes creeping up behind him.

  2. Whatever happens, it’s been a lot of fun.

And he’s OUR horse’s ass Killer; cry harder. At least we’re not going out with a whimper if we have to go out at all.

    1. For some reason, many Americans now view politics as a WWE match.

I prefer boring politicians. They’re not supposed to be entertainment. When they are, it’s rarely a good sign.

      1. Politics has always been a WWE match. It awakens a certain…instinct…in people that cannot be plumbed by grey bureaucrats with spreadsheets.
Smart politicians know this. Barzini, who was himself a great supporter of the ECSC, remarked that while an economic union might possibly create conditions in Europe that could avoid future wars, it could also fail dramatically if the people in charge started thinking that money and material units could/would/should take the place of other factors…people can’t be made to rally around a bank or a dollar sign.

        1. uJane …

Politics has always been a WWE match. It awakens a certain…instinct…in people that cannot be plumbed by grey bureaucrats with spreadsheets.

I’m starting to put your writing on the same pedestal I put Kurt Schlicter’s. THAT … was brilliant!

          1. Well thank you Kenji. That’s quite the compliment. Fun fact: both my husband and one of my kids served under Col. Schlicter. Six degrees of Kevin Bacon.

It appears as though Killer needs to re-read his Tolkein, as he has chosen the leadership of the Ringwraiths. But it goes to show that he has a deep misunderstanding of power. Maybe some skimming of The Prince might help as well.

          2. That’s no more than 2 degrees of Kevin Bacon … nice! Now I’m wondering what kind of no bullshit Col. he was to serve under?

      2. And yet it is the Canadian media that has itself tied into knots about this trade issue.

      3. “They’re not supposed to be entertainment.”

The Prog media make him entertainment.
It’s better than having Obama’s shit-eating grin on every news stand.

        1. The prog media cannot HELP giving Trump all the FREE publicity he seeks … they’re so compulsive as to be as predictable as a ticking clock.

          1. “The prog media cannot HELP giving Trump all the FREE publicity he seeks … they’re so compulsive as to be as predictable as a ticking clock.”

He has played them like a fiddle right from the start. He first used them to spread lies about him, then used social media to *go around* them and get the real message out. Genius, really.

      4. “War is nothing but a continuation of politics, with the admixture of other means.” Carl Von Clausewitz
Or, as they say in Massachusetts, “politics ain’t beanbag.”

      5. A libertarian system yields dull politics. A Fascist system like Canada yields exciting politics because EVERYTHING about the future is decided by the government. And that tends to excite people.

        1. Oh I don’t know…libertarians tend to cause quite a bit of excitement, maybe in spite of themselves. Or it could be because they can’t exist without the fascists — both systems tend to feed off of each other.

      6. Do you suppose many Americans have noticed how similar the crude bellowing of the participants has become in both politics and wrestling?

    2. “Whatever happens, it’s been a lot of fun.”

It has. And Donald Trump will likely go down in history as one of the best Presidents the USA ever had.

        1. Actually, no you won’t. There are prediction markets that you really could place a bet on this subject, but you can’t, because you’re not a real person. Your an agent of a hostile government, seeking to cause dissension and turmoil. It’s ok though, we all need to make a living

      1. “Trump will likely go down in history as one of the best Presidents the USA ever had”
        Oh Fred Fred,
        Shake your head
        You’re brain dead
        Trump is so nefarious
        And you’re so hilarious

        1. Trump fk Trump.
          Pick a different crutch.
          Take some responsibility.
We are exactly what we are a post national state.
          Own it .

  3. Can Ahh Duh.
Temper tantrum dial turned to 11.
Our idiot progressives cannot meme or troll.

Only PresidentTrump would troll the Canadian establishment with such glee.

The hissing and shrieking will now rise to even more insane levels..
Dead Rodents reaction being a fine example of “rational thought” from can Ahh Duh.

  4. I effing love it.

Canada is American, one way or another whether ya’ll like it or not.

And for good measure, Ukraine is Russian

  5. Doug Ford probably went out and bought a dog just so he could kick it.

    Haha!
I’m going to enjoy this simply because it’s going to make so many Canadian’s heads explode like festering boils.

      1. Considering the present state of affairs that’s rather insulting to Mexico. Snow Bangladesh?

  6. I wholly support the name change to Lake America after all, Canada renamed the Queen Charlotte Islands.

  7. It’s awesome fun!
    I want a festival!
Wing walkers, American flags, pyramidal water skiers, American flags, drone racing, American flags, of course, fireworks from barges, performances, drone light show, boat racing, rowing, American flags, hot dogs, apple pie… the whole schmear. Did I mention American flags, I thought I did; but if I didn’t, AMERICAN FLAGS.
    LAKE A-M-E-R-I-C-A
    It’s salt water now!

    1. You only forgot one thing. A barge with a stripper pole.

BTW, I stole that from Floridians.

  8. L – Premier Doug Ford acts like a yappy, overfed lapdog beaking off at the alpha of the pack, St. Bernard.

In the exchange of repartee with the meme Master, Ontario just got owned.

That 42% of Cdn. businesses going over business plans of to stay here or to go south and survive and thrive. At their fare thee well company party; may toast to their future with American spirit(s).

  9. idk, seems as though renaming everything “America” will cause confusion. Make he could have named it “Lake Trump” instead.

    1. This was memetics. It had to be Lake America. Just like it had to be Gulf of America.
Oh, this means Google maps might have to start showing it as Lake America…sweet.

        1. “I just checked online, it’s still the Gulf of Mexico.”

Your TDS *compelled* you to do so, I get that, but then you felt an uncontrollable urge to come here and tell us all about it? You’re getting more pathetic every day.

  10. The President and his advisors knew it was politics and he kept baiting them and they took it. We have been shown the “brilliance” of certain politicians. It is truly enjoyable seeing the unhinged, guilable reactions.
Wait till The Logan Act hits high places.
Popcorn time, can’t have pretzels as too many politions are twisting themselves into that configuration right now.
Just going to sit back and watch the comedy unfold.

  11. Crap like renaming the Gulf of Mexico, renaming Lake Ontario, or annexing Canada and Greenland is unnecessarily provocative. Whether Trump is just trolling or not, it pushes people away from him. He needs to capture the middle not alienate it. I support much of what this administration stands for and does, but his ego is off the charts and stunts like this, in my opinion, don’t help down the road.

    1. But I am guessing you LOVE the egos of your favorite athlete, singer, actor, Lawyer, etc.
Time has moved on … the days of polite politicians meeting at garden parties and politely asking to please pass the sweet and sour shrimp are LONG GONE. Politics are bare knuckled slug fests now. Please make a note of it … and please try to keep up with the times.

    2. He doesn’t care if he pisses off Canadians. He doesn’t care if he makes his own base mad; he certainly isn’t going to care about your feelings. In fact, this works for us.
This is an awesome re-naming; I hope it makes Canadians cry harder (which it already has). Winning!

Speaking of Canadian kerklempt, I wonder how my good pals at Planet D are doing:
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=12jl37Gu48s
      https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5B5Khkfqj3g
Oh, yep, they’re not happy! Awww, that’s too bad.

    3. hozbag
You must be too stupid to grasp meme capability of the Trump teem.
Most people (the sane ones) just laff this shit off, and don’t git serious about it like you just did!

    4. The left changes place names all the time. Yonge-Dundas Square? Salish Sea? But Trump’s the provocative one? Lol. Give your head a shake. At least he’s using a relatable name instead of some unpronounceable mess of letters in a language spoken by 10’s of people.

    5. “Crap like renaming the Gulf of Mexico, renaming Lake Ontario, or annexing Canada and Greenland is unnecessarily provocative.”

It really is. I feel exactly the same as you do…I love what he is doing for the country, but wish he would knock off the schoolyard taunting. An 80-year-old man should be acting with more maturity than this.

      1. The Art of the Deal. He’s in negotiations and gets the other side frothing mad. And the stupid self-righteous opponents/victims will fall for the baiting every time.

  12. Trump should have named it Lake Hunt in honor of Doug Ford and claimed it was an old French name.

    1. Ken
That would go rite over fatso’s head, and possibly so over some who post in here:-)))))

      1. Smug with a double digit IQ, wow. Well at least GYM has found a new boyfriend! Ron was getting bored anyway.

  13. I love the OUTRAGE from a nation who just …

… recently named a street šxʷməθkʷəy̓əmasəm Street, which is notable for being the first street name in the city using an alphabet other than English. This name comes from the hən̓q̓əmin̓əm̓ language of the Musqueam First Nation.

Lake America it is. And no imaginary symbols/letters needed.

  14. There are at least 5 main incorporated cities, towns, and villages named Ontario in the United States.
The name Ontario comes from Indigenous languages, meaning “great lake” or “sparkling water.”
