My word of advice is not to assume to know the latitude that exists in our corporate web usage policy, or presume to know when I start and finish “work”. Most employers have very little problem with someone reading a favourite blog at lunch, particularly if they start the day at 7:30 AM and end at 5:30 PM.

After apologizing last year for making inappropriate comments about a female conservative politician and baking cookies Warren Kinsella has done it again, with a female Conservative blogger, Kate McMillan of Saskatchewan.
Mr Kinsella called her a Hag on his blog, in an on going dispute between the two internet commentators. Hag is generally considered an epithet or insult targetted at women. Firther investigation reveals that Mr Kinsella has made other comments on Ms Mcmillan’s lack of a husband and her overall appearance.
Leading feminsist commentators have stayed silent. Some have speculated this is due to Ms Mcmillan’s conservative political views that are not in line with existing Women’s groups political agenda’s.
Contacted at her home Ms McMillan said she harboured no ill will toward Mr Kinsella but couldnt understand why the author of Kicking Ass in Canadian Politics couldn’t “take a punch”. Ms McMillan said, “Warren is welcome to come hunting with me anytime. I might even show him how to take the safety of the rifle.”
