Alberta: 83% new cases are fully vaccinated.
Manitoba: 69% of new cases have had 2 – 3 doses.
Saskatchewan… looks like we got the super duper most excellent vaccine! Yesterday, only 1.1% of new cases were fully vaccinated.
To be fair, I have information that Sask Health is checking into their numbers.
The trend continues as a report out of Manitoba shows more vaccinated people winding up in hospitals and ICU wards over Christmas.

Bret Weinstein interviews two researchers on a topic that is thankfully starting to gain some traction: vitamin D.
At the 1 1/2 hour mark, the discussion shifts to the less well-known but critical topic of animal reservoirs. They identify a key problem with the mass vaccination program which could explain, in part, why it is driving itself to failure.

This humorous clip from Seinfeld pretty much sums up current pandemic policy as it turns full circle to regurgitate the failed policies of the past. Kramer appears to be channeling any number of pandemic central planners like Fauci, Brent Roussin or Bonnie Henry.

In the business world, anyone with this track record for prediction would be out on their ear. But in Sovietized medicine, the powers that be overlook these failures as though selective memory was the fast track to promotion.
the revisionist history around vaccines is getting pretty extreme. let’s be VERY clear:
- yes, they were promised to stop spread, contagion, and provide herd immunity.
- yes, those promises were made by the same “experts” currently claiming “vaccines were never supposed to stop spread, just reduce severity.”
- yes, they were so committed to this that they literally changed the definition of “herd immunity” to EXCLUDE natural immunity.
To be fair though, the message is also being embraced by a population that finds sleepwalking disturbingly comforting.
I am literally gobsmacked by the lack of memory and discernment.
This level of credulity leaves me wondering how the entire country has not already lost its savings in some internet scam.

Today in Manitoba 947 new cases identified, 143 are in individuals who were not fully vaccinated. In other words 85% of the cases were fully vaxxed.

Carlos Tejada, a New York Times Deputy Asia Editor, has died at the age of 49. He suffered a heart attack less than a day after posting to social media that he had received a Moderna booster vaccination.
When a 13 year old dies of Covid, it’s a national news story.

I think we can say with fairly high confidence that there is nothing in this data that supports the idea that widespread booster usage is stopping spread or contagion of covid. The issue of whether they are, in fact, making spread worse remains open and the data seems mixed and wants for greater explanation, though several studies seem to show negative vaccine efficacy for boosters on case counts (link below), so I have a hunch there may be something to the notion and will keep scratching at it.

After all the lockdowns, masks, mass vaccinations, mandates, and passport systems you finally flattened the curve (along the wrong axis) and reached all time high case counts. Just in time for Christmas.
We’ve been watching overall case numbers in the fully vaccinated increase for some time now, but in Ontario the rate per 100,000 people (second chart below) just crossed over the parity line. Judging from the trend its probably not going to stay there.

This 15 minute video from Geert Vanden Bossche explains why Omicron may be our last opportunity to end the pandemic with the achievement of actual herd immunity. If we continue with mass vaccination, we run a serious risk of closing that window.
