More here. I’ll post updates as I collect it.

Found the 4chan board… mostly chatter. This looks like the original thread.

Former Japanese PM Shinzo Abe Murdered

Shinzo Abe was shot at a political campaign event and died soon after:

Mr Abe was shot at twice while he was giving a speech in the southern city of Nara on Friday morning.

Security officials at the scene tackled the gunman, and the 41-year-old suspect is now in police custody.

A search of the alleged gunman’s home uncovered what police believe are explosives, local media reported.

Speaking before Mr Abe’s death was announced, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida condemned the attack, saying: “It is barbaric and malicious and it cannot be tolerated.”

“This attack is an act of brutality that happened during the elections – the very foundation of our democracy – and is absolutely unforgivable,” Mr Kishida said.

Reports on his condition sound grim.

The J6 Hearings are Backfiring

It appears that the fake January 6th Hearings, all choreographed by a TV producer, are having exactly the opposite effect the Democrats were hoping for:

They saw some of the committee’s new video footage of violence at the Capitol on Jan. 6.

“Reprehensible,” said one voter.

“Disgusting,” said a second.

“It has everybody angry,” said a third.

Instead, it was “Washington politicians” and “the media establishment,” several voters interviewed said, who they saw as trying to stack the deck against the former president.

“It might as well be impeachment No. 3 for Donald Trump,” said Judy Cameron, a Reno retiree who had just voted in Nevada’s Republican primaries on Tuesday with her husband. “This is their big push to get Donald Trump off the ballot.”

Special Guest Post for Father’s Day

From SDA regular contributor, Denise:

My beloved dad died 10 years ago. On Sunday I’ll raise a beer in deep appreciation of my kind, hardworking, fun, loving father and all the good, decent men who, day after day, year after year, forego their needs for their families out of duty and love. To celebrate fathers in an unconventional way, this musical essay offers a politically incorrect portrayal of a day in the life of a (fictional) dutiful dad who does the unexpected: he takes time for himself. Written & performed by my husband, James, fortunately “dad” realizes that he’s having a breakout, not a breakdown. Without a doubt, it’s a much deserved breakout. Here’s Duty Calls.
