I was just reading about how the FBI handled the Peter Navarro arrest (for a misdemeanor). They put him in leg irons at the airport (he lives only 50 yards from the FBI building). But, the real nefarious thing they did (after a strip search…FOR A MISDEMEANOR)…was that they disallowed him to call for his attorney…and then, they expedited his appearance in court to immediate, socked him with an inexperienced public defender (who had no training in Constitutional Law)….and told him that if he called his own attorney there would a be an hour delay causing him to miss his court time and he would have to spend the weekend in jail until it could be rescheduled.
This is the FBI. This is how they play the game.
It occurs to me that an awful lot of FBI agents are going to spend the weekend applying for transfers to the IRS. The job descriptions are very similar and the opportunities for bullying people are unlimited.
What happens when you “go all in” with those credibility chips that you no longer have.
Um…..You’re aware they removed 20 boxes marked sensitive, secret, and top secret, right?….. Having those is possibly treasonous and may invoke the espionage act…. but only because it very well may be treasonous espionage depending on the documents …. But it might not. We’ll find out, I guess.
