As a non-Canadian, she is barred from Top Secret clearance — yet she is now Carney’s top deputy with unclear access to sensitive material. There was no official announcement on the PMO website
Her path to Ottawa runs through the climate-finance web Carney co-chaired (GFANZ with Bloomberg), Gerald Butts (now advising alongside Carney’s wife at Eurasia Group), John Podesta, and recent private gatherings involving Barack Obama, Alex Soros, Huma Abedin, and senior Canadian officials.
