There is going to be a lot of George Floyd schools in this province. The renaming of everything in Ontario continues.
What the other side is thinking: no more fossil fuels, period

In the interest of publishing what the true believers of climate change think, Pipeline Online published this op-ed from two university professors, one from Concordia, the other from McGill. They want to shut down all fossil fuels – coal, oil, natural gas, now. Period. The article came from The Canadian Press.
If we don’t end the use of fossil fuels, all of the rest adds up to little more than branches piled on the tracks in front of a runaway train. They might slow the train temporarily, but until we get inside the engine and shut off the throttle, the train will keep accelerating.
– Eric Galbraith, H. Damon Matthews
And, in a related note: the assault on art continues, this time in Vienna, in the name of saving the planet from fossil fuels.
Mask Formation Psychosis
The absolute best way to persuade someone over to your side in an argument, checks notes, is to call them a “sociopath”.
Globe and Mail- It’s that time of year – time to get the masks out
Suppose someone told you that a terrible thing was happening: something that was having a devastating impact on sick children – as well as the elderly, medically vulnerable people and medical staff, and could, really, have a severe effect on any of us. But that you could make a little shift in your life, the tiniest change in your behaviour, that could alleviate the suffering and a looming catastrophe. Would you do it?
Of course you would, because you are not a sociopath.

The Romans Would Be Outraged
The progressive elites that control America and Canada, encourage mental illness. Why, we even have a prime minister who attends Drag Shows.
At 12:30 a.m. this morning, Alberta got just 3 megawatts out of its 3,076 megawatts of wind. Again
Again and again and again, Alberta’s wind power totally collapses to effectively zero. It got really low at supper on Tuesday, dropping to around 15 megawatts, which is pretty much nothing since their nameplate capacity has grown, again, now to 3,076 megawatts.
But by 12:30 a.m., it dropped to just 3 megawatts. That’s out of hundreds of turbines costing many billions of dollars.
Oh, and you have to look at how much the $100 million or so worth of batteries have contributed in the last month. Take a guess.
But hey, Microsoft just signed on to buy a whole schwack of wind power. Does your Azure server rely on Alberta wind?

Let the common folk eat Kraft Dinner. Only Chardonnnay and steak for our elites. And let us not forget Trudeau’s six thousand dollar a night hotel suite.

It seems mental illness is an essential element, in order to be part of the woke crowd.
European Parliament is wrong to endorse ‘fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty’

The European Parliament is wrong to endorse ‘fossil fuel non-proliferation treaty’, writes Deborah Jaremko of the Canadian Energy Centre. In this column carried by Pipeline Online, Jaremko writes about these facts:
- The world needs oil and gas to function
- Europe’s largest economy is walking back on renewable energy
- Renewable energy is not reliable at scale to replace oil and gas
- The world’s growing population requires more energy, not less
- Canada is a responsible, reliable oil and gas supplier
- Canada’s natural gas can help the world get off coal

Blunt Force Hate
Laura Rosen Cohen has just published a compelling article that merges two disparate “otherings”:
The convergence of so many wicked actions and people – the glee that other humans took in suffering and creating suffering – was truly demonic. Jews don’t believe in the Devil per se, so we differ with Christians in that. But Judaism certainly recognizes evil in many forms, particularly human. I don’t think I will ever, ever get over my anger about it all and the destruction and the wanton cruelty. There were many nights when I felt utterly chilled by the events surrounding me and my loved ones. The evil – the sadism – being reported about total strangers (nursing homes, hospital patients, people banned from family events, not being able to attend funerals, weddings, dying alone). I still cannot believe that anyone in their right mind could possibly ask “how did the Holocaust happen?” after the past almost three years.

The Spectator- The last of the Covidians
These were the people who had apoplectic fits if your mask dipped below your nose, who starred in viral video after viral video of grocery store freakouts and carseat diatribes. Even the quiet ones would glare molten steel into the maskless, their angry and disgusted eyes visible over their mask-hidden scowls.
So how should those of us who have moved on from the sad piano music television ads and the daily crunching of Covid numbers deal with those who are bitterly clinging to their pandemic?
I suppose kindness ought to be the order of the day — but didn’t kindness get us into this mess in the first place? Wasn’t part of the reason Americans allowed the absurd and arbitrary lockdown measures — ignored by their betters — to linger so long a desire to be kind to the terrified?
