On Wednesday, President Joe Biden again repeated his baseless smear that Georgia’s new election-integrity law is a modern version of “Jim Crow” and celebrated the fact that Coca-Cola, Delta, and Major League Baseball have condemned the legislation. He called these moves of woke capitalism “reassuring,” even while he admitted that MLB and others have left victims in their wake by pulling out of Georgia.

And I don’t think it’s “woke capitalism”.

President Joe Biden’s administration is looking to fly migrants arriving at the US southern border to processing facilities in northern and coastal states, as the US deals with an influx of people seeking shelter in the US, The Washington Post reported.
 
The Post spoke to two Department of Homeland Security officials and reviewed an email that showed US Customs and Border Protection requesting planes to transport migrants as 1,000 people including unaccompanied minors crossed the Rio Grande on Friday morning.
 
It’s not clear which states they want to send the migrants to, but The Post reported many northern states do not have the capacity to process that many people.

A first face-to-face meeting between US and Chinese officials got off to a heated start in Anchorage, Alaska, on Thursday as US Secretary of State Antony Blinken’s statement that the Biden administration would bring up “deep concerns” about some of China’s actions around the world was met with immediate pushback from Chinese counterparts, sparking an unusually public exchange of diplomatic barbs.
 
By evening, the Chinese had accused the US delegation of being “condescending” in its tone, while a US official said the representatives from Beijing seemed “intent on grandstanding.”
 
The meeting quickly veered away from the usual diplomatic throat clearing that takes place in front of the cameras before the real meetings get underway. As the two sides traded the unusually intense remarks, Blinken called the cameras back to counter the Chinese officials’ comments — particularly their slights about US democracy — setting off an unexpected chain of rebuttals as each side responded to the other’s remarks.

I deeply respect Sharyl Attkisson, so have to believe that this must be mostly tongue-in-cheek:

What would be necessary if powerful interests wanted to construct a believable artificial reality surrounding the most powerful political position on the planet? First, of course, the technological capability. Beyond that, it seems to me, they would need to have a pretty tight grip on the information landscape — meaning, primarily, the internet — so that any material exposing the effort or contrary to the goal could be discredited or expunged. And, finally, there obviously would have to be a serious element of secrecy — a willingness and ability among all of those with knowledge and information to keep the whole thing under wraps. Seems pretty unlikely, except in the movies.

Am I the only one whose mind immediately flashed back to this infamous advertisement:

In the 2022 version, there’ll be no cute woman throwing a sledgehammer, only “Biden” and legions of NPC drone sheeple … aka clueless Democrat supporters.

They have dropped charges such as assault on a law enforcement officer, arson, and other violent crimes. Many have been dropped with prejudice, meaning they can’t be re-litigated in the future. The local news report takes great pains to quote those involved who claim that these decisions were not motivated by politics, but rather by limited resources, large caseloads, COVID-19, and other factors. It strains credulity, however, to think a new direction has not taken hold among the federal law enforcement system as a new president has taken over and begun reversing every Trump agenda item it can target.
 

President Trump very publicly made law and order a theme of his reelection campaign, and a centerpiece of his agenda to get America back on track. With this quiet, under-the-radar move to cease the pursuit of justice for violent riot crimes, the Biden administration is sending a subtle, yet very clear, opposite message. To the new administration, law and order are selective, arbitrary, and dependent upon the politics of the offender.

Obama’s consistent policy for eight years was to side with the jihadists. Obama’s anti-colonialist worldview bred his anti-Western sensibilities. He and his neo-Marxist advisors viewed the jihadists as the “authentic” voice of the Islamic world. They were favored because they were “revolutionary” and anti-Western. In every conflict that pitted either conservative Sunni leaders, Iranian anti-regime forces, or Israel against jihadists from Hamas to Hezbollah, to the Muslim Brotherhood and the Houthis, to Iran, Obama and his people supported the jihadists. For this reason, Obama admired both Turkish dictator Erdogan and the Qatari ruling family. Like him, they supported jihadists.

President Biden is dismissing the genocide against the Uyghur population in China, dubbing the mass internment a “different norm” — despite the State Department this month responding to “atrocities” in the camps, following reports of systemic rape and torture, the New York Post reported on Wednesday.
 
President Biden sough to portray China as the victim and stated that , “culturally, there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow,” Biden said at his Town Hall meeting Tuesday. However, the “norms” in China, as shown in a recent BBC News exposé, include systemic torture and rape occurring in Uyghur concentration camps.
 
The East Turkistan Government in Exile, the democratically elected official body representing East Turkistan, what China calls “Xinjiang (the colony / new territory) and its people, condemns in the strongest terms, President Biden’s recent statements which seek to justify China’s ongoing genocide of Uyghurs and other Turkic peoples in East Turkistan by portraying China as a “victim.”
 
We demand President Biden apologize to the victims of China’s aggression, the victims of genocide, the countless Uyghur and other Turkic women who are systematically raped and sterilized, and the countless Turkistanis who are killed for their organs.
