According to Bloomberg, only 1 in 200 Nigerians use the eNaira – despite government implemented discounts and other incentives, implemented as desperate measures to increase adoption.

Now, the government is looking to boost digital payments by limiting ATM withdrawals to just 20,000 naira, or roughly US$45 per day, Bloomberg reports, citing a circular sent to lenders on Tuesday. The previous withdrawal limit was 150,000 naira (US$350).

Weekly cash withdrawals from banks are now limited (without fee) to 100,000 naira (US$225) for individuals, and 500,000 naira (US$1,125) for corporations. Any amount above this will incur a fee of 5% and 10% respectively.

Born 90 years apart, they clearly grew up in very different times but yet bear striking similarities.  Both are well educated.  Both were absolutely convinced of their own righteous causes.  Neither believe in free speech. Neither believe in free elections where the proverbial scales are not severely tipped in favor of their beloved political parties.  Goebbels was the Chief Propagandist for the German Nazi Party.  Roth is a de facto propagandist apparatchik for the Democrat Party of America.

Some of the usual suspects are shouting a little too loudly that the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario didn’t suggest that unvaccinated people are mentally ill and in need of psychiatric medication. Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t, but what is clear is that over the past 2.5 years, medical associations across the Western World have destroyed their credibility with misleading statements, and outright lies, and their friends in the media, such as Politifact and the Associated Press, have done the same.

Once all of these organizations admit that they have been wrong about most everything around Covid and agree that their actions have helped to hurt, and even kill, millions of people around the world, then we can start a real dialogue. Until then, EVERYTHING they say must be judged through a skeptical lens of Stupid or Liar.

It is very hard to maintain one’s composure when speaking to ordinary Canadians about the disaster in the making that is Canada today. I have engaged personally and via email over the last two years with literally hundreds of my fellow countrymen from all walks of life on the subjects of the national debt, the deficit, the sunsetting of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the draconian and illegal Covid and vaccine mandates and the turbo maladies that flow from them, the various repressive bills sieving through Parliament, the vicious and lying government and media campaign against the Trucker Freedom Convoy, and the unconscionable behavior of the most vindictive, incompetent and unpatriotic prime minister in the history of Confederation.

With precious few exceptions—“precious” is a key word here—I have come away in a state of profound depression. Some readers of my writings as well as everyday interlocutors have accused me of pessimism, which may be true. I recall a remark of Leonard Cohen’s: “A pessimist is somebody who is waiting for the rain. Me, I’m already wet.” Sometimes I feel completely drenched.

The best known recent pretendian case involves Mary Ellen Turpel-Lafond, widely regarded as one of Canada’s most successful and honoured indigenous scholars and legal professionals, who for decades claimed to be of aboriginal ancestry through her putative Cree father William Turpel. According to an October 12 CBC exposé, she even referred to herself as the “first Treaty Indian” appointed to the judicial bench in Saskatchewan history.

The CBC asked Turpel-Lafond how her father, William Turpel, could be Cree when his parents were British. “She refused to answer, only hinting at family secrets and shame, saying ‘I will never call anyone out’ … However, in a public statement days after the story was published, Turpel-Lafond declared that her father had been adopted.”

The COVID shots do nothing to prevent you from getting COVID, and the data now shows that these shots also do nothing to prevent the virus from killing you. (This ineffectiveness is why the shots are not a vaccine, and why legitimate journalists, doctors, researchers, and politicians should stop calling them that. At best, the jab is the equivalent of a flu shot, which might help but often does little to prevent the flu.)

The data only shows this in the imagined delusions of Anthony Fauci. Actual data says instead that the shots have been largely useless, and increasingly could have caused tens of thousands of unnecessary deaths in young people.

Meanwhile in California, school districts statewide are still trying to impose COVID shot mandates in a willful blindness to this data. Even when a federal court rejected such mandates, stating unambiguously that the San Diego school district “does not have the authority to establish its own mandate,” the school district pushes on, refusing to abandon its policy.
