In Vancouver, it appears that Leftists do not only disagree with Free Speech, but they will angrily attack you if you dare say anything they disagree with. This occurred on March 27, 2021.

The gentleman with the megaphone, Alexander Lasarev, is claiming that Angry Bicycle Man is none other than the current vice-president and chief medical officer at BC Cancer, Dr. Kim Nguyen Chi. British Columbia Crown counsel has “determined” there is not enough evidence to present to the court. Much more here.

  1. I am not surprised that the government tried to conceal the identity of the attacker.

    In my humble experience, at least 75% of government employees are socialist and just not very good at their jobs. My family has always joked that the civil service is a government make work project for the “special people” in our society.

  3. If the crown refuses a criminal prosecution, a civil suit perhaps. The evidence is certainly compelling.

  5. Very sadly this incident did not happen in Ontario. In Ontario if you do not get satisfaction from the police or the crown service in getting charges laid against somebody who committed a crime against you , you can go to a Justice of the Peace ,as a private citizen,and have him/her swear out Criminal charges against the perp. The victim in the video should look into seeing whether the same law we have in Ontario applies in British Columbia.

  6. The real revenge is publicizing this video, where Dr. Chi makes a first-class ass of himself for all of his colleagues and friends to see. Nor are his employers likely to be impressed with his calm and measured demeanor.

    1. It’s amusing you think there will be any consequences for Dr. Chi whatsoever. Incident occurred two years ago, video posted shortly thereafter. People have been fired and hounded into hiding for far less and in a matter of days after such incidents.

      At least Progressive Pat is entertaining.

        I doubt there will be official sanctions, but embarrassement over juvenile behaviour is also a type of punishment.

        Further, if I were looking for a new president of BC Cancer — someone with sound judgment who would keep the organization in good repute — Dr. Chi would likely be struck off of my list.

      I’m sure the “good” doctor has plenty of supporters happy to justify his thuggery and temper tantrums.

      1. Of course it means something. He’s in a highly technical field where professionalism is valued. This is not the type of behaviour that garners approval.

    1. Now that’s a different slant on the political thing. It might be the start of a slippery slope if Dr. Kim Chi were to remain in the medical kitchen so to speak. It certainly leaves me dis- oriented.

    That would be an historical document. What’s happening out there in coo-coo land nowadays?

    It got so bad I left the Island and move to the Ok Valley in 2021 where there are still a lot of conservatives.

      Yes, there are still citizens completely controlled by the Media. My wife’s nephew’s partner/schizoid, has declared themselves as a quarantine zone. She’s 8 months pregnant, so what, but Nobody is allowed anywhere near them unless they are jabbed and show negative tests. She dropped the batshit crazy act last summer, after a year and a half of playingCovid Karen, but she has resumed the role.

        1. He may may be head of the research department. They tend to get their name on every paper that comes out of the department as a matter of course. Some department or consortium heads end up with thousands of papers with their name on them, and hundreds of thousands of citations of their work.
