          1. The “Bible” isn’t a book. It’s a collection of 66 books. And the translators throughout time have somehow managed to mistranslate the same passages in essentially the same manner over the centuries, despite coming from different cultures and living in different lands.

            I contend that the translators were all the same people, living in the same land. But they pretended they “found” “ancient” manuscripts that corroborated their translations.

            There’s a massive cult that has existed during this entire period that is known for forging works to suit their own needs…

            I find that the various books that were all written in Paleo-Hebrew in what we now refer to as the Old Testament (minus Esther) are genuine articles and agree with each other. Although the chronological order we’re taught they go in is incorrect. And that most, if not all of the books in the New Testament were written later and have NOTHING to do with the books of the Old Testament. Many passages in the Old Testament have been purposely mistranslated to make the doctrines of the New Testament appear to be fulfillments of Old Testament writings.

            I believe the books of the Old Testament to have been inspired and are accurate, though the purposely mistranslated words can’t be taken at face value. If you translate the underlying words consistently, rather than making a word what you want it to mean at the time, you’ll find the Old Testament very similar to what’s presented, but with a few startling differences.

            Such as God NEVER telling Isaac to sacrifice his son, or of a virgin giving birth to a son.

            But then there’d be no foreshadowing of a certain event the priests of Baal need you to believe happened thousands of years later.

How about you do some math research on Ivan Panin, a brilliant Russian mathematician who spent 50 years studying the Bible through numerology. He actually set out, as a staunch atheist, to settle this fake God thing and became a devoted believer and devout Christian. He left Russia and studied at Harvard, greatly influencing and shaping the Biblical belief system in One True God. Might want to do some of your own research, if you can find the mental capacity and open mind you seem to believe you are so greatly gifted with.

            I am familiar with Ivan Panin. You sound like someone who venerates the late Chuck Missler and writes down mental notes that reinforce what you want to believe.

            You seem to accept too much of what others tell you is truth. I have spent many years painfully unlearning many things I once regarded as true. It’s like learning how a magician does tricks. You’re the better for knowing it, but it’s also sad to learn some harsh realities that make complete sense.

          4. Glacierman, I don’t mean to gloss over your point. In summary, Ivan Panin used trickery to arrive at the conclusion he desired. The math didn’t work, so he published his own version of the New Testament in Greek. Taking liberties with the underlying text allowed him to get the groundbreaking results.

            Look up “The Numeric English New Testament”.

            Similar “science” was later used to “prove” anthropogenic global warming.

    So as a suggestion perhaps the next protest should be against racism complete with poster sized pictures of Leisure Suit Larry in various “costumes”.

    1. I agree in principle, except that the government and every alphabet agency is on the side of “the left”. They created, steer, and aid and abet Antifa. They purposely ignore the crimes of Antifa while at the same time harassing peaceful people on “the right” and claiming that they somehow do what Antifa does openly.

      If those on “the right” ever did anything remotely close to what Antifa does on a daily basis, there’d be an immediate and overwhelming response by the state.
