Melissa Chaudhry, a Democratic congressional candidate in Washington’s 9th District, has acknowledged that she does not publicly promote LGBTQ+ rights on her campaign website because she does not want to alienate Muslim voters.
When asked why her campaign lacked references to LGBTQ+ rights despite saying she supports them, Chaudhry replied: “Because a lot of Muslims do not feel that way, unfortunately.”
She also said she was “careful about her Muslim constituents.”
When push comes to shove, I’ll remember all the degeneracy the alphabet people pushed and the lives and reputations they ruined just because a person or a business didn’t march lockstep with their agenda.
I’ll remember when the BLM guys stopped the Toronto Pride parade and refused to move until the gays give in to their demands (whatever those were). Good times.

She’s not very politically astute. All she has to do to get and keep muzzie-wugs on side is to say “Yay Palestine! Boo Israel”. They aren’t worried about any politician’s shallow commitments to the LGBTQ stuff because they have their own plans to take care of that down the road.
Perhaps she has factored that in to her calculus and thinks she can avoid being among the second group dealt with under Shariah although being female, slavery with a little stoning is the most she can hope for. Today’s political class must decide which will come first, sovereign default / runaway inflation or the Caliphate and plan their careers and travel plans accordingly. None of them are talking about civil war but hey, they’re politicians pimping the mindless.

Intersectionality’s a bitch.
It’s based on the idea of a matrix of oppression, with white straight Christian males being at the top of the dung heap. Oppressed groups are supposed to be united in their struggle against this privilege. Except they aren’t. Intersectionality has no good mechanism for coping with deep-seated conflicts between oppressed groups, and that is ripping it apart.

The Left is a smorgasbord of collectives. Were you to draw a Venn Diagram with just these two groups (LBTQ… and Muslims) there wouldn’t be a whole lot of overlap other than the perceived “victimization.” Most of their concepts/beliefs/values are diametrically opposed; some aggressively so. I suppose that’s why most of their political campaigns rarely focus on universal issues, but rather zero in on denigrating the opponent.
The shocking thing in this scenario is that someone actually asked a question that addresses it directly.
Were someone on the Left actually attempt to campaign on the issues, it would be equivalent to walking through a mine field.
The only Venn diagram describing the LGBTQueers and Islam that matters is both groups demand for FORCED obedience to their belief. Forced obedience or they will kill you or cancel you. Both groups hate Free thought and Free will.

I always found it funny that leftists used the word “intersectionality” to describe how their amalgamation of special interest groups makes a party.
In an actual intersection the best case is that drivers temporarily pass by each other but then go their separate ways.
