Don’t Be A Fangirl.
Fauci, as a scientific/political phenomenon, is important in the same way the shrill and clamoring Climate Nutters like Al Gore are important. It is essential to understand what they are so they can be ignored and prevented from exerting influence in the future.

That the Elbows-Uppers are completely disinterested in maintaining a civil relationship with influential members of the Trump administration demonstrates how little they know about relationships and negotiation.

I have 3 comments – Yes, I am an “old white woman” (this is my 75th summer) and just as there are climate fanatics, I am a garbage fanatic. I did generate waste when I was renovating each of the 7 houses which I owned, but I would try to reduce my output by recycling and composting. Sadly, I live in an apartment now and so can no longer compost.
The “Elbows Up” crowd are slowly realizing that the Americans do not want to “play ball” with us. People do not like it when I say that Canada has not been a good neighbor. We have NOT carried our weight in NATO, our armed forces are pathetic (they used to be great!) and we always thought that the Americans would tolerate the extremely lopsided trade relationship. President Trump was elected to improve the lives of the American people. He could give a fig about NATO and the rest of the world.
Thank you posting the Babylon Bee’s comments about the special camps for Jewish people in NYC. A good male friend and I think we are living through the 1930’s again and that there will be a major upheaval in the world soon.

Dr. Anthony Fauci no longer deserves that title.
May I suggest a more fitting name for him that truly represents what he actually is.

I think the answer is that Fauci, and Faucism, represented the apotheosis of what the managerial/academic/journo class desires: An excuse for sweeping power, based on (alleged) expertise, in which they could ride roughshod over those stupid proles and flyover people while preening about the allegedly superior moral and intellectual qualities that justify their rule.

One of the things that LIFE and The Bible has taught me – is humility. No, trust me … I’m as arrogant and full of myself at many times and topics as the next guy … however … my overall attitude is that I do not now, nor may I ever understand ALL the mysteries of the Universe … hence … I curb my confidence when I know what I don’t know … until HARD evidence, irrefutable evidence underpins my confidence. Fauxci has spent his entire life and career being fawned over to the point that he lacks any and all humility. And those are very, very dangerous people. Some might even say … psychopaths. I do.
