She totally lost me when she claimed a young teen who had terminal brain cancer died of Covid because he tested positive just before he died. Fortunately the kid’s sisters were sufficiently outraged to set aside their grief and publicly call her out. And then Dr Henshaw tried to blame her staff. Am willing to bet staff just following orders and do wonder how many “Covid” deaths should be more properly classified as “died with Covid positive test” rather than – as they evidently were – “died FROM Covid”.
Well, lessee… Italy’s courts forced this distinction on their medics, resulting in reducing their # of COVID deaths to 15% of the original number.

Quite right. This is not really about Hinshaw. This is about whatever morons within the health bureaucracy supported these absurd policies. It’s clear these people have no idea of the massively destructive effects and the lives directly lost as a result of their lockdowns. The names on that email provide a list of whom to discuss this with as a starting point. The idea is to make these people sufficiently terrified of even thinking of behaving like National Socialists ever again. Our parents and grandparents fought a bloody seven-years long war to stop this sort of thing.

No. Everyone above the level of front line (nurses, doctors, lab techs, laundry, janitor, food services, etc) needs to be fired, with prejudice. The entire bureaucracy needs to be (metaphorically) gutted like a fish. In addition, who’s the minister in charge of health care? You not only just lost the portfolio, we will be having a by-election in your district soon. All this done? Good.

Agree 100%. The AHS bureaucrats that rehired Hinshaw need to be on the unemployment line pronto. They obviously have no objection to Hinshaw’s belief that “the experts/elites” should dictate to us lowly, unwashed masses human rights be damned. They also don’t believe they need to obey the chain of command.
Last I saw, the entire AHS board, save one, was NDP aligned.

I’m not sure if this is true or not, but I heard that AHS denied that Hinshaw was ever hired in the first place. If this is true, it could be AHS did hire her, but then denying it to try and to save face.
Does that mean she’ll get another severance package?
Most likely, the vast majority of AHS brass are crony Conservative appointees with possibly a few remaining crony NDP hangers on. It’s part of the filth of politics and state enterprises. Think of a large corporation (with 102,000 mostly unionized NDP-supporting employees) with all the spin doctors, old boy’s network on the board, and management carpet baggers but unmoored from the realities of competition and making a profit or going out of business. Smith should take the opportunity to clean house but unless you abandon the sacred (socialist) “system” (that the feds protect with threat of withholding tax transfers) how do you appoint the right person into a system that is dysfunctional by design. Doing the wrong thing better than the other guy is no improvement.
Have the health care workers who were canned because of jab refusal been hired back? If not, do so now. It sends a correct signal. And while you are at it, can the ones who fired them in the first place (you know, to make up for the extra costs). That too sends a correct signal.
