House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has given Fox News’ Tucker Carlson exclusive access to 41,000 hours of Capitol surveillance footage from the Jan. 6 riot, McCarthy sources tell me. Carlson TV producers were on Capitol Hill last week to begin digging through the trove, which includes multiple camera angles from all over Capitol grounds. Excerpts will begin airing in the coming weeks.

I hope they do a careful audit and timeline of each camera’s feed. Undoubtedly the Democrats have scrubbed the parts that contradict their insurrection narrative.
I’m all for this but not sure where it can go.

I think it is more likely you have attracted turdeau’s security servicesg, and given all the censorship happening in canadiuh I would recommend two things-use a web browser that respects your privacy, Brave seems to be better than others and invest in a VPN, they are extremely cheap.

What this footage is likely to show is that some doors were opened from the inside to let the protesters in and that friendly security actually waived people inside as though they were going on a guided tour.
Yes, these peaceful protesters had somehow breached the security outside the building.
Footage also exists of security beating the crap out of a female protester.
Overall, the Democrats’ talking points of a well organized armed mob bent on overthrowing the government will be shown to be crap.
I am disappointed that FOX has “Exclusive Access.” Access should be given to others. Personally I think since it is “We the People’s” Capitol Building, we all should have access to it without many limits.
I am sure there are others that could make good use of the video. People like Megyn Kelly and others?
It has been over two years. The release of the video should have been an easy non-partisan decision. It was not. That tells me it stinks of political coverups.

Get your point about FOX “exclusive access.” There may be a reason.
To comb through many thousands of hours of video will be a herculean task. By having an exclusive (presumably for a limited period) FOX will have a financial motivation to do the job quickly and thoroughly. If it were open to all, we’d get a melange of motivated interpretations. We already have the view from the left repeated ad infinitum through the phony Jan. 6th hearings. That’s where the political coverup took place.
Let’s see what FOX has to say.

I know I’m biased, but would any of us trust a lefty media organ to show the truth of those vids? A thorough review of 41,000 hours would take a dedicated to the task team, a year or more to go through. My guess is they will release as many “juicy” bits as soon as they can, but overall this will be a long drawn out process, while many of the protesters remain rotting in the DC jail. Nancy should be drowned in a bucket of her bodily excretions for doing this to them!
All this will do is confirm what most TuCa listeners/readers already know and then be written off as far-right conspiracy by those who already aren’t fans.

I sort of agree. But there are people out there that have been breaking stories on January 6 daily for 2 years. Fox should give them access too. Maybe as a quid pro quo. “You get access and can break the story, but we want you to appear on a Fox show(s) to talk about it.”
I think they should start putting it all on Rumble, Odyssee, Youtube, etc., broken down by cameras. e.g., Camera 152, (location) 11:10-11:20, 11:20-11:30, etc. Add in the cameras of the scene around the “Pipe Bombs” at the DNC and RNC too. Add in video of the actual Rally, and any video of that day that others give permission to post.

The situation at FOX appears to be complicated. Murdoch hates Trump and would like any material that supports the ex-president to disappear, along with the Dominion voting machine lawsuit.
But most FOX big names (outside of Hannity, perhaps) are probably lukewarm on Trump but they know that the FOX viewer base wants, and deserves, to hear the Jan 6th story, as well as the election shenanigans stuff.
According to the discovery in the Dominion voting machine lawsuit, FOX commentators claim not to have agreed with Trump about the election having been stolen. However, they say it is proper to report on the fact that Trump thinks so. Sounds good to me, but what do I know?
Everything depends on biased judges and polluted jury pools.

Speaking of new rules…I was driving between appointments today and a local radio station (down here in the US) was interviewing Gordon Knight. I’m sure this website has covered his situation as it very much is a reflection of government over reach in Canada. I believe it initiated a case precedent that your government privately owns the law (or those who drafted it do)…allowing the Canadian govt. royalties on anyone who deems to cite it. As a result, your civil service hacks are competing against private citizens in various markets and disallowing private citizens the ability to cite the law when referencing their own product.
In Knight’s case, his family has been providing Electrical Wiring self-help volumes for the last 50 years. However, the Civil Service hacks in your government decided to put out their own books and pushed Knight out of business be disallowing him the option to comment on specific electrician safety laws within his own books.
It was a very interesting interview…which highlighted the fact that the Canadian government is even reaching down into the US to disallow him the ability to sell his books down in the states (which is illegal, btw).
The pissing contest between Knight and the Canadian Standards Association has been going on for years.
