Your Moral And Intellectual Superiors

They regret the error.

“Because of an editing error, an earlier version of this article included a statement that was intended to convey Israelis’ perception of the government’s military response to the Oct. 7 terror attack in relation to the attacks, but inadvertently suggested that Israelis’ experience as terror victims was a matter of perception. It has been removed from the article,” the note said.

  1. oh jeez.
    ooooooooooooooooooh jeez.
to have the connexions and knowhow and access to *everything* related to the operation of that rag, everything from crashing their servers, corrupting all their backup archive, disconnecting the power to the building at some inconspicuous spot. and the nHIT THEM all at once. leaving nothing but some sort of cartoon gif on the web site.

    1. What you write is profoundly true, but nobody on the political spectrum seems to notice this fact. Except for conservatives, everybody else mis-calls it the “paper of record”.

      1. “everybody else mis-calls it the “paper of record”.”

It is though. It’s the paper of socialist record. And their record is damning.

But on the bright side, they’re going broke and taking the fortunes of the #Lefties with them. Faster, please.

  2. How DARE the citizens of Israel view themselves as “victims” of terrorist attacks!!
According to Google AI, in 2023 alone, there were 3,436 terrorist attacks in Israel.

The New York Times sucks, period.

  3. I perceive the writers at the New York Times to be idiots. It is unlikely that I will change my opinion or “regret the error”.

  4. After seeing (some) of the video of what went on in southern Israel during the attack from Gaza on 7 October,
I certainly don’t need anyone’s filter to describe how I should feel towards the gazans or their ilk, nor their apologists in the MSM or tier 2 Canada’s bullshit gov’t.
Perhaps the NYT’s Pulitzer from their Duranty campaign makes up for the gazan oversight.

    1. For decades, the Hamas/Palestinian M.O. has been to:

      1. Sucker punch Israel at every chance,
      2. Hide behind women, children, schools, & hospitals,
      3. Eventually get the shit kicked out of you, and then
      4. Run crying to the world press, claiming you’re the victim of genocide.

And despite the fact that this tactic is responsible for the overwhelming majority of Palestinian deaths in the 20th & 21st centuries, it actually works… on stupid people.

You can call me a sociopath, psychopath, or whatever you want, but I have little sympathy for people who choose ‘leaders’ who repeatedly to do this to their own people. If you sucker punch someone and get your ass kicked, don’t come crying to me.

  5. On the one hand, that -could- be bad writing. It isn’t like the little dorks are careful about things like that anymore.

But on the other hand, it’s too on-the-nose to be incompetence. The little dorks wear that frickin’ Arab scarf in the newsroom.

  6. If I didn’t know any better, I’d believe the SPLC is paying to keep the NYT afloat. The NYT is hosting their own little Charlottesville rally.

  7. It’s true though. Israelis do largely view themselves as the victims of Oct. 7.
Should this truth be balanced with the truth that Arabs living in Gaza attacked Israel? Probably.
But that’s what you get for reading the NYT. Not balanced.

Should a sloth attack an 800lb. gorilla and expect not to be grease-spotted? No. That’s part of the whole thing.
Arabs getting their ass kicked by Israel, again, after attacking Israel. Then crying about it.

Golda Meir said, “We can forgive the Arabs for killing our children. We cannot forgive them for forcing us to kill their children. We will only have peace with the Arabs when they love their children more than they hate us…”
