Years ago, I was visiting friends on Vancouver Island and happened to engage in a political discussion with their pretentious 13 year old daughter. As the parents looked on, I debated this young girl on the merits of different political philosophies. “People should be allowed to do anything they want in life such as living in a forest and doing whatever they want there”, she espoused. My response to her was simple: “I’m open to hearing about any new political philosophy as long as it doesn’t disincentive everyone to work hard to be the best that they can be.”
Sadly, throughout my life I’ve seen different versions of this naive, ignorant teenager show up in the form of Leftist politicians and “intellectuals” (in quotes to connote mockery). Whether it’s socialism, communism, Marxism, or whatever ‘ism-du-jour they’re promoting, all of these political systems fail for one fundamental reason: they discourage people from excelling.
Fast forward to present day America where we now have an economic relief package that incentivizes able bodied young people – the core group that is almost entirely immune to the virus – from working. Brilliant! 🙁

My daughter would love to find a job. She’s been applying like crazy. No responses. This is a kid that people normally fight over each year as she’s known to be a hard worker. Things are just vile right now. 🙁
If she can’t find a job, then she isn’t trying very hard. Are you a liberal socialist or something? Or maybe she feels entitled to have a job because that’s the mentality of millenials nowadays. The economy is so red hot that Harper and Jason Kenney had to ramp up the Temporary Foreign Worker (TFw) program back in the day.

For the official units of exchange,weirdly the only rational reason for government, is now worthless in everyones eyes.
Without that faith,the middle men become utterly useless and totally parasitic, because that faith was their only job.
The function of government is to enable the illusion of civilization,all the theatre they engage in and provide,the Parliament,the courts,policing and the army are pure theatre without the buy in of the citizens.
We needed some central authority to enable wider trade,which did enrich us all.
Thus that cost of government was acceptable.
Now trade is broken,by government,in far too many ways to list, but suffice to say the cost of government has massively exceeded any benefit we now experience..
So now that they have broken every trust,institution and oath ever sworn…we are back to barter..

My daughter just finished her last university exam (online). She starts work next Monday. She’s looking at another long hard summer of work and wondering why her cousin, who also just finished her university year, and who has no inclination to work given all the free money Justin has promised, should be in the same position financially as her at he end of the summer.

Think of all the unsecured debt on Bank (Global) credit Cards…. Banks just sell their BRAND to a third party & they don’t have the liability…. All those cards must be maxed and in default….Bank debit cards are backed by the Banking System and not part of the phony baloney…
