I remember the day after Fields accused Lewandowski of grabbing her arm the refrain from Trump fans on Twitter was “Prove it! File a police report or you’re lying.” So she filed a police report. Then the refrain was “It was the other guy standing behind Trump, not Lewandowski!” Then new video came out showing, no, it was Lewandowski. Then the refrain was “He barely touched her. No one could seriously believe this is battery.” So now he’s been charged with battery.
That whole “Never Apologize” thing went stupid, real fast. A quick five minute statement by Lewandowski apologizing and explaining that he was just trying to keep up with Trump would have made the whole thing go away.
Going stupid fast seems to be in the air this season.
Well sorry for jumping the gun and calling you a Trumpet but the amount of ugly I see from Trump supporters these days and the ridiculous justifications of it remind me of the left not the right. There is plenty of video showing he at most brushed against her, the Secret Service touched her, as is their job.

I just watched 12 seconds of video. Given the battery standard offered, I saw at least four chargeable offences. Field in fact battered a photographer when she bumped against him. When asked for his footage, the photographer in the red shirt denied he was at the event, but when outed, said he saw no battery on anybody’s part, but had apparently “lost” his photographs. KC Finney’s link shows the chicanery of this whole affair, with a Clinton Democrat DA involved in charges with clear political motivation.
I sense a big lawsuit for malicious prosecution which won’t be hard to prove as we learn more and more about the players involved in this obvious attempt to derail Trump. Did I mention Field is pitching her new book right now?
