  1. That story is Bull$hit John.
Lunn beat the Liberal candidate by over 2351 votes. Julian West got 3667 votes total. So to believe that story you have to believe that all of those NDP voters can be attributed to those calls. I thought NDP supporters prided themselves in being politically engaged. So they were such LIVs that they didn’t know their candidate withdrew because of a scandal. Without those calls would they all have voted Liberal instead? Maybe the votes would have have gone to the Green candidate who finished a distant third. Or maybe some of them just voted NDP because they always do.
And just why did Julian West withdraw? He was caught exposing himself to teenage girls at an environmental retreat.
    NDP values in action.

  2. Just wait until constituents of Rod Viagara, MP (Lib; Leftville-East) try receiving his first mass-email!

  3. John, I think the phraseology you’re looking for would be “Speaking of fraud.”
    You’re welcome – you monkey-sodomizing retardate.

  4. In the wake of the election, Duffy has become an increasingly irrelevant, pathetic character. The “evil Harperite government” has vanished and his whole case is now so yesterday, notwithstanding media attempts to keep the coverage alive (I suppose they’re obliged to report on the trial but – yawn).
I see you, like them, appear to be taking Duffy’s word for it though. It might be useful to remember that his testimony is not a statement of facts, it’s the defendant’s perspective.
From where I sit, Duffy’s defence seems to boil down to: “Harper forced me to take that Senate seat.”
Lame, lame, lame, Duffster. You could have just said, “No.”

  5. I love that eponymous name.
When you live under Liberal government you can always look forward to grant crack.

  6. Ref this goat guy. When he got the $750,000 to create those new jobs, was there any stipulation that these jobs would go to Canadians?
Now why wouldn’t the CBC have asked that question when it got the press release about the illegal workers? You know. ..Canada’s most trusted news source and all that.

  7. Exactly Jamie. No background story on Skotidakis. That’s too much like work for the modern reporter. A quick online search would have also disclosed a $4.2 million federal loan in early 2014 ( http://www.betterfarming.com/online-news/goat-farm-will-use-federal-loan-expand-its-processing-activity-55033 ) and an additional $1.35 million in provincial grants back in 2010/2011 ( http://www.agrinewsinteractive.com/archives/article-11776.htm ). And every politician’s news release made much of the local employment opportunities being created.
