One of the two students removed from Oberlin College earlier this year for allegedly circulating virulently racist, anti-Jewish and anti-gay messages around campus is an ardent leftist and committed supporter of President Barack Obama, The Daily Caller News Foundation has learned.
Dylan Bleier, one of the two students, organized a voter registration drive on behalf of Obama before the 2008 election. That voter drive is still listed on the website for Organizing for Action, the non-profit group whose mission is to advance Obama’s agenda.
The response of both the legacy media and Oberlin College in the six months following the exposure of the hoax shows is just more proof that drumming up “racism” is one of the most important things the lib/left needs to do to achieve it’s goals.
As for the legacy media,
In other words, six months ago, when the “incidents” could be presented as an indictment of those filthy right-wing racists/Tea Party-types, it was news, but when it was revealed that the perps were “progressives” and that the whole thing was perpetrated as a hoax to smear non-progressives, the incident — and their own breathless, outraged coverage of it — disappeared down the memory hole.
It’s too bad that millions of Americans have absolutely no idea that the information they receive from the legacy media is agenda-driven propaganda, not news.
And their alumnus Lena Dum something made many comments when it happened, also silent since the hoax was exposed. You would think people would be more upset about the hoaxing than the possible existence of some marginal idiot racist. It’s just like when the entire Neo Nazi population of Canada has a rally, and all 12 of them are outnumbered by the reporters trying to make a story out of it.
Why let them off the hook on the assumption it was a “hoax”? Actions speak louder than words. Vandalizing buildings with swastikas and racial epithets or homophobic remarks should be taken at face value. Pretending after they’re caught that it was done to “raise awareness” or some such malarky is too little too late. No different from my robbing a bank and then, once caught, claiming I just wanted to test security.

Only if you assume that they’re reasonable, logical, rational people. The lib/left get so excited when they see “proof” of racism on the right because the existence of such “racism” vindicates their progressive views and shows how nasty the non-progressives are.
The fact that the very people who are so volubly self-righteous (as in, they can’t shut up, they organize rallies, etc.) when they think the perp is a non-proggressive go completely shtum when – yet another – “incident” is revealed to be a hoax perpetrated by one of their fellow travellers makes perfect sense: they’re overcome by a feeling of disappointment that it wasn’t actually some right-wing Tea-bagger doing the deed.
As soon as the source of their outrage is revealed to be a hoax perpetrated by their fellow travelers the incident no longer serves their purpose, so it’s crickets all around.
The problem is right wingers are not living up to the leftist computer models generation idea of who we are.. So they are adjusting the data to fit their preconceived notion of who we are.. They are just being proactive.. Helping us fit the propaganda they love to smear us with..
My feeling are leftists are also responsible for starting forest fires in the name of big government doom and gloom.. Anything is possible with this 5th column bunch of political zealots..

Btw, here’s an example of TV media coverage of a subsequent “incident” at Oberlin, shortly after the “racist” graffiti incident, in which someone driving in a car at 1:30 am spotted someone dressed in KKK robes. It was a frightening sight to the young black woman who witnessed it, as you’ll see, but it also created strength, courage, and unity of purpose among the student population after classes were cancelled for a day, and discussions were held around the campus.

We are now between to slices of Religious authoritarianism. That would do ant thing for power. That are both supremacists in their ways. Both parties worship the god of authority.One cloacks itsel as Secular, but in truth they bow before a system developed by a man. There is no lie these groups will not perpetrate to slander anyone who disagrees with them. No murder they would not commit for the cause. Islam, plus Marxism, is the great barbarian beasts of today. Us normals stuck between this bloody sandwich. May not survive the machinations of one or the other of these anti human ideologies.

Oberlin is a weird community. Just from observations when I was there.
I visited there in the mid-80’s as a gf was doing an internship at the art conservancy institute there.
There was no liquor stores in the community as it was liquor free. Just 100 ft outside the city limits was the most interesting liquor store stocked with many fine wines — obvious the people who live in Oberlin loved fine wines 🙂
My gf of the time was taught how to shoot a gun by the locals as she was interning at Oberlin. 🙂
Just south of the community was an amish or mennonite community == I could not distinguish and thus plead ignorance.
Oberlin had one of the best institutions for restoring art according to the gf.
Thus it was a community of extreme talents & thoughts.

The indication at the time I was there — was the people I met in the college were dominated by progressives. I was amazed at the lack of knowledge they had wrt to science, technology, geography, politics — I had a PhD convinced I lived in an igloo for 6 months of the year and that I used dog sleds to get around. It is sad.
