  1. She may be dumb as a stick but she’s only doing what all politicians do….. lie through their teeth to get elected. In her case, why would anyone even bother to question her statements or actions. Her constituents and supporters are already brain dead and if she went on a permanent vacation no one would miss her. Her followers can always be found in this video come voting time.

  2. There could be a relatively simple explanation.
Perhaps she has long ago given up listening to herself
as a simple method of preserving what severely battered
and diluted sanity remains in her system after years of
erosion by a nonstop flood of verbal diarrhea.

  3. Sister lizzie may, for all the verbal faux paus, will be a tremendous asset during the next election.
The benefit is that she is the typhoid mary of the left, she wants so badly to be taken seriously, but rather than have something relevant to say to get there she seems to believe route to relevancy is by being on the rolodex of every journo, getting invites to all the progressive chin wags, riding the coat tails of a rising star of the progressive set, and inserting herself on the national stage by throwing a tantrum if she isn’t on the invite list, no finer example exists than her efforts to be part of the federal leaders debate. A debate where she demonstrated her inability to debate, but instead proved beyond a doubt that she was a shrill, not driven to achieve positive change, but to use the national stage a her own personal vehicle to attack the PM as a “climate denier”.
She like trudeau, is a one trick pony, the danger however for the liberals is when she starts campaigning for them, and by so doing attaches the liberal party to the green party and any policies that liberals cannot defend.

  4. Hey, this is the same party that wanted reward squealers by giving them half of any fines that were levied for environmental offences.
Your neighbour spills 2 liters of waste oil…turn him in and you’ll get half of the $5,000 fine.
You find 11 dead ducks in a tailings pond…hell, you’ll be rich overnight

  5. Ach, she’s just saying whatever floats through her “mind”. We have a friend like her – it’s hard to say whether he is lying or fantasizing. Weak grip on reality, you know.

  6. Presumably May wasn’t lying. She likely just wasn’t aware of her own party’s official platform.
    Now attribute to malice etc…

  7. To be expected.
Anyone who believes in global warming will believe in nutter medical treatments.

  8. Greens have an intelligence deficit – even spelling is a problem… It’s not “Complimentary” health care, it would be “Complementary” health care if it wasn’t so goofy to begin with.

  9. This is the same person who says the Green Party is fiscally conservative. Hahahahaha

  10. “Complimentary” Health Care? “You are a wonderful valued person, with fabulous hair. Now get to the back of the line and wait a year for your surgery. We need to spend your tax dollars on making sure these addicts over here have a sweet place to shoot up. Oh, and free drugs, too. But you are a wonderful person!”
    Wink wink nudge nudge

  11. Homeopathy, of course is 100% BS, Naturopathy 90% BS, and Chiropractic is 75% BS. They all get points for promoting healthy lifestyle but so does everyone’s Mom and most of those don’t call themselves doctor. Chiropractors seem to help some people’s backs but past that it’s all crap, at least that’s what most MDs believe.
Am I surprised the Greens support alternative medicine? Not a bit. Alternative medicine and a simplistic interpretation of the industry/nature balance go hand-in-hand with those screaming out “I’m Stupid – I’m Stupid”

  12. The Green Party of Canada’s own party platform says “We will promote complimentary (sic) health care through support of chiropractic, naturopathic, homeopathic, and other non-western practices.” When Audra Williams pointed this out on Twitter, May denied it, and told Williams to check out the downloadable platform page on the Greens’ website; when Williams did that, and found the proof, May said “I just checked it. No homeopathy.”
It’s that whole “I’m Elizabeth Green, I can say anything I want, and deny that I said it” thing all over again.
A commenter at BC Blue found this quote:

“Expand healthcare coverage to include qualified complementary/alternative health professionals such as naturopaths, acupuncturists, homeopaths, licensed massage therapists, chiropractors, and dieticians.”

There it is again, naturopaths and *homeopaths*.
It’s functionally irrelevant whether May’s demonstrated tendency to deny what others have seen, heard, or, in this case, read is due to malice, ignorance, stubbornness, lying, or, something else. For a party leader to be unaware of what’s in her own party’s official platform is redolent of unaccountability and/or brutal ignorance and/or incompetence.
The platform statement that naturopathic and homeopathic treatment will be covered by OHIP isn’t some niggling, arcane, legalese-type sub-point, it’s is a major and obviously expensive and radical part of the platform. And when something is in your party platform, but you repeatedly deny that it’s there, even after it’s been pointed out to you, you’re lying. It’s functionally irrelevant whether it’s due to malice, a natural inclination towards unaccountability, or sheer ignorance/incompetence.

  13. May is aware the moneyed force and organizational core of the green political movement are agenda 21 fascists – this forces her to lie and deceive on a daily basis – presenting global UN fascism as populist communitarian environmentalism. This forces her to act and speak against her own conscience – a kind of political disassociative identity disorder. I do think she was a sincere environmentalist at one time long ago but that part of her must fight against the political solutions/agenda of the party elites and globalist commandants who dictate green political policy.
Green politicsa ar about the destruction of private property, personal freedom, and capitalit market diversity – it is about population control, eugenics, authoritarianism, monopolistic control of resources and forced auterity – it is about establishing 3rd world conditions on humanity – that’s an aful lot to hide and smile when you’re selling it as utopia.

  14. I’m not so sure she’s lying or speaking against her own conscience due to any pressure from the Agenda 21 fascists. I think she is a true believer in the entire agenda and the money is just a bonus. If she was smarter her future would have been secure with the UN but as it stands, she’s just another useful idiot in their quest for world domination.

  15. occam…Lizzie does NOT have a “conscience”. You have one,and I have one,but anybody who is a politico does not. Lizzie is just a green, yank,wh*re(apologies to real women of the street). She will do and say anything to get another buck shoved down her pants.Harsh? Nope. The truth hurts. And just WTF is a yank doing in Canadian political socialism? Any reasonable answer would be nice. Let’s start calling a spade a spade.
