Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Holy hell, woman. When you send someone traffic, you send someone TRAFFIC.My hosting provider thought I was being DDoSed. - Sean McCormick
"The New York Times link to me yesterday [...] generated one-fifth of the traffic I normally get from a link from Small Dead Animals." - Kathy Shaidle
"You may be a nasty right winger, but you're not nasty all the time!" - Warren Kinsella
"Go back to collecting your welfare livelihood." - Michael E. Zilkowsky
Oh, but it is different when it is Israel.
In other words, what the State Dept. spokesperson was saying is this: “Who is going to arrest the sheriff? Na-na-na-na-boo-boo!”
There is a difference between a war and a civilian police action.
The cost of losing ground to a Taliban/I.S. , who beheads, crucifies and immolates the soldiers and civilians it captures.
Well that raises the stakes.
The Islamist jihadis used their own people in Gaza as human shields for their missiles, and they used UN camp mentioned in the excerpt likewise, too.
Where the Taliban/I.S. trying the same here?
Was their next step to execute all their enemies, including the infidel doctors and staff?
Did this strike prevent that? Will the investigation ask that, too?
It was the Afghan army who requested the air strike. Do they have different views on the Rules of Engagement? Yes, and those would be?
Awkward isn’t the half of it.
I miss the war protesters. Where have they gone? In the Bush era, small groups of them were always present on the street corner near the mall. For years they were there. Particularly after an incident like this. Maybe they all finally got jobs? Wait, that’s not likely with 94,000,000 out of the work force. A great unsolved mystery.
Kind of like there are only articles about the homeless in the New York Times when there is a Republican in the White House.

“I miss the war protesters. Where have they gone?”
No kidding. They haven’t even been out in front of banks pooping on police cars lately either.
I’m guessing that the majority of them moved on to #blacklivesmatter, hoping to avoid and socially justify the embarrassment of having supported a globalist neo-dictator based on the color of his skin.
Even with precision munitions, there’s never, ever going to be a targeting system with a 100 percent guarantee of no mistakes. Human and technical errors are going to happen.
When the US government took a swipe at the Israelis about their targeting in Gaza, it was just storing up future embarrassment for itself.
Love watch PR types squirm and a reporter actually doing their job.
