    In central north Calgary, they asked for my name and phone number for contact tracing in case there is an outbreak of the covid.

    I declined, and told them I’m not getting the covid.

    Kevin Vuong has been kicked out of the Liberal Party and is now running as an independent.

    The voting ballots and signage inside the booth have incorrect information that mis-informs voters he’s a Liberal candidate.
    None of the election staff would change the signs when I informed them , some said they didn’t know, one said Elections Canada said it was too late to change the information on ballots and instructional signage.

    Ladies with masks and clipboards lost their shit when I clearly announced their scam.

  5. Tuned in the CBC News coverage, and saw Rosemary Barton interviewing Gerald Butts. No telling if they discussed obstruction of justice. Disgusted, I channel surfed onto the CTV news coverage. They had on a “diversity panel”, who complained that there too many whites running in thr seven Newfoundland ridings. Sheesh.

  7. I voted for my local PPC candidate here in S. BC, Sean Taylor. It was rather an easy choice because without a Maverick candidate in my riding, the PPC were the only conservative party running.

I want blackie to own this mess and you know the press will roast the toole when they would be forced to reduce the payola. I agree separation is the answer , but there simply isn’t enough hurt and hungry people (yet). Also if the toole looses we could hope for better leadeship or mass abandonment of the cpc.. When you have 70 to 80 percent who favor compulsory vaxes and passports there isn’t a lot of hope . Also 18 months of Liberal lite likely insures the Libs are back for a dozen years or more. The whole situation is terrible and we need to think longer term.

    The Conservatives are panicking! At least in the Lethbridge area.

    Got a phone call today, noonish, with a male caller asking for me. Noted he was from the local Conservative candidate’s office & that I hadn’t voted yet. Bit of a surprise as I hadn’t.

    Told him that I didn’t know there was even a conservative running in our district. That gave him a moment’s pause. I then cranked it up a bit and asked him why would I vote for Liberal Lite if I could get the whole enchilada? He professed to not understanding me and I clarified my position, noting that there was absolutely nothing conservative in the Conservative’s platform and that if I wanted gun control, carbon taxes and mandatory vaccines, among others, I’d merely vote for Juthdin.

    The conversation wound down in a hurry, he thanked me for my time & said goodbye.

    Shortly after I headed down to my polling station, voted, then asked the supervisor why it was possible that anyone knew whether I’d voted yet or not. It was explained to me that a list was kept of those who had & hadn’t voted (which I was aware of) and that any candidate could send in scrutinizers to check the list to see who hadn’t voted yet. Obviously they have a contact list, phone volunteers, et voila! I don’t have a problem with anyone finding out whether I voted in the election or not, at 10 in the evening, long after the polls close. However, I don’t recall signing up for harassing phone calls throughout the course of election day.

    That pissed me off & I will be contacting the Conservatives & Elections Canada forthwith, expressing my disgust with that shit.

    Few hours later, phone rings again. I answer, the caller asked for my lovely bride, I inquired as to who was calling, it was young William for the Conservatives. Light bulb goes on, I tell him that she does not wish to speak to him but that I have a few words I’d like to pass on. I asked him why anybody would vote for a party who would cannibalize the Liberal platform, reduce it by 1/4 and then say, vote for us because we’re 25% less shitty than the Liberals? Poor William didn’t know what to say. Long seconds later he gets back on the narrative: Vote for the candidate, not the party!

    Wait…wha? That took me aback. They’re trying to distance themselves as far from the Tool as possible! Too little, too fucking late.

    I then informed young Lochinvar that the unfortunate thing about the Westminster system is that the party leader rules, not the candidate and there was no way in hell I was voting for Liberal Lite. He replied that I was entitled to my opinion, I told him he was entitled to his uninformed opinion and that he should seek employment elsewhere before hanging up.

    I’m in a pretty much guaranteed Conservative win riding, so I find it interesting that even they’re beginning to sweat.

  30. I voted PPC, but I had the luxury of being in a downtown Toronto riding that’s pretty much a guaranteed Liberal seat, so I know I am not splitting anything. Besides, even if I had voted Conservative and that somehow miraculously got them in, I no longer believe that they would change the things I want changed, so I’m effed anyways. God help us all.

    Libs vote count about the same at 42%
    Cons vote count up about 5% to about 32%

    This nets the Cons an additional 4 to 5 seats in Atlantic Canada, so it’s about 23 to 9 Libs/Con.
    If this trend holds up in Ontario and BC (ie the Cons gain a few percentage points), then the Cons have a shot at winning the most seats.

  40. I heard today that Elections Canada shit the bed on this election because of the short notice and the shortest campaign time for a vote.
    In Toronto center there was 41 polling stations in 2019 and this year 15.
    Elections Canada were shy 1000’s of workers.
    People were seeing a big line and said fuck it and left.

    My hope is that the 6.8 million who voted in advance were all people who hate Shithead like Shithead hates strong women.

    Lets see the flags raised this week just to piss off all the Grievance Indians.

        We tried to reconcile. They (the party elders in the east) took that as a surrender. Pity there was no viable western separation alternative in my riding. I had to “waste” my vote on PPC instead, lest The Toole think he has popular support as Turdeau-lite.

        When I look at the results map I can tell which parts of the country are dependant on government patronage.

      4. The Beauce also let us down too. To be in debates, the PPC needs a seat. Lots of us did not want to handicap the CPC, but MAX needed a seat plus over 4% popular vote, which many of us gave him, without vote-splitting. On the other hand, perhaps having Trudeau “wear” the results of his vaccine issues, impossible national housing interventions, impossible day care initiative, green taxes and a increasing failing economy might wake up more Canadians.

        Apparently, no one cares about ethics, not even the CPC “no-war room”.
