    1. It’s looking like a minority. Will Shiny Pony partner with the NDP, or the Bloc? (Green isn’t enough of a force to do anything.) It’s bad, yes, but it could be far worse.

  1. Earlier today I was talking with a friend who grew up in what was the former Yugoslavia. He never faced the actual dictatorship but his parents and grandparents did. Now, as a green card holder, he mentioned that he & his wife may leave the insanity of San Francisco but at least they have sane options in America.

He, like me, finds it hard to believe that Canadians would willingly vote in a pseudo-dictatorship. Such voters would never acknowledge this. They’ll use words like “safety” and “greater good” and “the government will take care of us”. But, make no mistake, they are absolutely selling their freedom, and that of their descendents, down the road. This nanny state loyalty is a big reason why I left there.

    1. A few days ago, I spoke with my elderly aunt on Vancouver Island. She, having grown up when Adolph and the gang were running Germany, didn’t think anything is wrong with having to produce a passport. She figured that since she had to do that when she was much younger, it’s no big deal now.

  2. You know, there is a day after the election.

The sock monkey made this mess (something he shares with his old man)
    Now he truly owns it.
The issues around us are not resolved and there is an absolute sheet show coming from the next economic collapse courtesy of the chicoms.
The sock monkey has no capability to deal with this other than cry on cue and redirect blame.
This country missed its chance back in 2015.

    Enjoy the decline.

    Oh, and one more thing.
A liberal win means the break up of the confederation is inevitable, so you folks out west will either get that new country or be the next US protectorate.

    1. Libs 150
      NDP 27
      Bloc 28
      Green slime 2

Oh, Lib-lite? 117. O’Foole has to own his mess.

Let’s face it: Canadians love being kicked repeatedly in the crotch because “he has such nice hair” and “the government’s going to take care of us”. Bloody hell, how I hate this country!

When should I start hitting the bottle?

    2. That means nothing.

He did that the last time.

He is going to double down on his dictatorship with China’s help.

This site (I am sad to say) will disappear.

      Forced vaccinations. Higher taxes. Cyber-firewall.

This election was for all of the marbles and Canadians have proven that a racist represents them bar-none.

    1. In Alberta it’s all paper ballots. Invigilators double-check the counts and initial when they agree. (not this election, but I volunteered last election.)

No Californication of the voting public here.

    2. Dear American readers….

In Canada there is no software. No voting machines.
Pencils and paper ballots only. Counted by hand.
The organization called “Elections Canada” runs the whole show across the entire country (no state/provincial/county electoral boards.)

    3. Not possible to rig it here. I’ve scrutineered and there’s no way. We even need to show id to vote. I know that’s racist or something but it’s not controversial here.

  3. Justin and his new best friend Maxime are happier than pigs in shit. Justin keeps his crown, and Max gets his revenge.
    0 – PPC
    3 – Greens
Never-ending Liberal dictatorship. Thanks PPC voters.

    1. No, thanks generations of “pragmatism” that gave you “fiscal conservatives” like O’Toole.

This bullsh– was long in the making, well before the PPC.

If it makes you feel better, Justin won’t allow another election. You know, the Chinese are SO tired of this democracy crap.

      1. the Chinese are SO tired of this democracy crap.

I have to admit I’m kinda sick of the Canadian version of it myself.

    2. You Support a leftist platform and berate voters of a conservative platform and blame them for a leftist government being elected. Haha

    3. CPC voters are the real vote-splitters. There was an actual conservative party asking for your vote and you ignored them.

    4. Don’t bother, since the conservative party is anything but conservative, don’t blame Max, they did it to themselves.

  4. I’m a NL’r. I was disappointed the first time the Slugs were elected, but I figured it was for legal weed. I’m disgusted and disheartened that this province has done it again.

    1. I agree. The Newfies I’ve known are damned hard workers. They left The Rock to work, wherever it took them.

The pogie is the same as welfare. It will steal your soul (if you let it). When more will be takers than makers then your province is lost. The pogie ensured that the takers would be rewarded.

I left northern BC for that reason. I didn’t go far enough (as a mining professional). I could have left the country, but thought that the Alberta energy juggernaut was enough to keep the feds at bay.

I’m starting to think that I was wrong.

    1. Maryam Monsef has lost her riding.
Too bad her Afghan “brothers” couldn’t vote for her.
      Good riddance.

  5. Looks like parliament will look exactly the same as before. Everybody loses. O’Toole blew his chance. Trudeau failed to get his cherished majority. Trudeau goes down as first PM ever to win twice while losing the popular vote. Other parties gain nothing.

This election will go down as having the lowest participation ever.

    1. The Toole losing his chance isn’t accidental. His soft leftism repels the conservative base. That he’s not leftist enough repels the Toronto base (that he sought).

It would not surprise me to note the highest number of spoiled ballots / fringe candidates. Including the PPC (who had my vote, as a protest).

      1. Yeah, O’Toole went left to win seats in Ontario and Quebec and failed on both counts. All he got was a few more seats in Atlantic Canada. Harper won far more votes and seats in Ontario, more in Atlantic Canada, and more in BC. So O’Toole’s soft leftism gained him nothing.

  6. So soon everyone forgets.

Juth-tin started this election, with a near 10pt lead, expecting to get his entitled majority as a walk.

Not happening. Let the media have their little moment in faux-victory. This is not the result the entitled Liberals expected. This isn’t a great win for the Libs. Groper wasted everyone’s time. We will be back at the polls in 2 years again!

Marylon Monsef LOST! TOTAL TWIT! WELL EARNED!

    1. Marylon Monsef LOST! TOTAL TWIT! WELL EARNED!

Couldn’t happen to a nicer person.

      1. Scott Reid, LaFlamme and some other halfwit on LibCTV were Libsplaining Monsefs “brothers” comment as defensible.
So typical of the eastern media bias. It’s a Liberal show, not much better on
Glowbull, and of course, the Ceeb is all in, what with Gerbil Butts there to hold the Fort.
Oh, and honourable injun on the network wouldn’t say shit if her mouth were full. What a mealy mouthed, wimpy wymyn

    2. Agreed. But we knew both Junior and his media lackeys would always trumpet that the Emperor’s new clothes were spiffy as all get out. We know he’s butt-assed nekkid.

Nothing’s changed in Trudeauland. Trudeau threw the dice, and he threw craps. No real loss to him, though. Only we little people will have to pay.

  7. Looks like pretty much the status quo after all this fussin’ and a-feudin’.

If Junior were a real man, he’d offer to pay the $600M he’s just completely wasted out of his secret tax free Trudeau Foundation account in Cayman.

But he won’t, because he’s a creepy psychopath, and Canadians are gutless non-wonders.

  8. Unfortunately the likes of Freeland are not conniving enough to oust the scumbag either so we’ve got two more years of this. I wonder if Sophie will hang around.

  9. Bought-and-paid-for UNIFOR news says it projects TurdHole will get a minority government.

Good news is O’Stoole and maybe Cory the C*nt Hahn will be on the way out.

  10. Montreal, toronto, Maritimes, Winnipeg.
    Liberals boted for;
    Racist blackface PM
    Not a feminist
    Liar
    Deceiver
    Ethics, wot?

    1. I would put this down to expertly targeted Liberal largesse. Micro financing all those little diversity programs. You know the sort of thing you hear announced in your local mdeia:

$10000 for a new portico to the local mosque/temple.
$250,000 for a rebuilt hockey rink
      Business development grants for blacks
Various forgiveable loan programs for immigrant integration.

  11. So right now the libs and cons each have 33.7 and the ppc has 5.

And yet you stupid lackwits are screeching hate at people who aren’t you? F’ing really? REALLY?

Good job. Once again the ‘right’ cuts off your own balls and cries the victim.

We deserve the government we get. You deserve it an f-pile more.

    1. Slow down. Your word-stew doesn’t let us know what you’re thinking.

Try again in the morning when you’re calmer (and sober? oh, wait, that’s me.) You’re not making sense to the rest of us. Who do you favour? Why? Why do you think that that with which you favour isn’t supported by the rest of the nation?

  12. There’s only ever been two questions to ask in federal politics.
What does Quebec want and what does Ontario want?
Mulroney understood this and achieved his second majority….without needing even one conservative seat in western Canada.

  13. Hey Mayor Numpty, right back at ya, dude.

I feel the same way about pushy minorities you hope you never hear from again.

  14. Albertan leaders are the ones screwing Albertans. A vote for Max could end it, but he’s a queerbecer, so, keep on self-buggering.

      1. I voted PPC as well, not that it mattered. It looks like the useless NDP incumbent hog-trougher got back in, which didn’t surprise me. She pulled in more than 10x the votes of the PPC candidate.

        1. Yes. And in my riding as well.

But PPC is roughly 5% of the national vote. Without a seat. That’s a lot of disenfranchised voters. Without a vote.

Heh, from The Toole’s speech “did you notice that he didn’t mention the word freedom once?”

“Let’s get to work!” GET THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!

  15. O’toole moved to the center and got the same number of votes as Scheer. Time for him to resign. He waffled too much for me this election. Let’s get a conservative back.
The good news is that Canada will have a fiscal crisis in 3-4 years. This will hurt Liberal client groups most. Canada will also be desperate for resource revenues such as oil and gas. This will benefit AB and Sask.

    1. He didn’t move to the centre, he raced to the left. Forget the CPC, it is controlled by the establishment; it is the Washington Generals. PPC.

      1. Correct.
When I first heard him after winning the leadership he was all righteous just like Doug Ford.
I thought wow , we finally has a chance to right this boat.
Then ” something ” happened to him along the way just as it did to Ford and a few others.

    1. Not all of Canada. The ones that didn’t vote PPC or at least Maverick if no PPC was available sure.

  16. Time to split. Leave the West Coast to join the other freaks in Washington State and cut them off from the rest of Canada. Then make a union with “Greater Idaho” when it takes half of Oregon and we have an opening to the Pacific.

    1. Yes. If the main tree you see outside is not a maple tree, then you should seriously consider separation.

    2. Capital idea. Really. I just hope the Americans agree. The Canadians I’m not too worried about.

  17. Conservatives losing 21 seats (so far) due to PPC vote-splitting.
Could have gotten rid of Trudeau tonight. Oh well.

    1. Vote-splitting? In my riding the Lib-lite candidate got almost 5x as many votes as the PPC. The Dipper is winning by several lengths. Vote-splitting–yeah, right.

Those lost seats had nooooooothing to do with an ineffective party leader, did they?

      1. Could be as many as 33 seats where Libs, NDP, or Bloc ran up the middle (where PPC plus Conservatives would have won if combined).

Ontario 17, BC 7, Alberta 3 (Edm Greisbach, Edm Center, Calgary Skyview), Quebec 2, Newfoundland 1, Manitoba 1, Saskatchewan 1, New Brunswick 1,

More likely 20-23 seats after all the counting is done.

        1. Yeah, lots of conservative seats are going to be lost when most of Canada votes for leftist platforms instead of the one national conservative platform of the PPC.

    2. All the votes for a leftist platform instead of the conservative PPC platform.
Could have gotten rid of Trudeau tonight. Oh well.

  18. Looks like not much will have changed in this election. Seat counts are pretty much the same.
As expected, my riding went full-on Red Liberal. Wasn’t even close. The lib candidate got twice as many votes as the con.
A small consolation was that the PPC candidate drew more votes than the greenie and communist combined (less than 1000 votes total)

In other words, 600 million dollars for an election called during a pandemic that no one wanted — didn’t change much.
But the libs are going to skate anyway. No accountability whatsoever. Question is, will the Tool pay the price? He sold the party’s soul, and didn’t get much of a return. So what are the Cons going to do now?

    1. So what are the Cons going to do now?

Keep collecting salaries, charging tax free expense accounts, and eventually collecting fully-indexed pensions. Lib, Con, Dipper, Blockhead, it’s just a profitable game to them all.

Life goes on as always in the gormless ghetto that is Trudeauland.

You can’t vote yourself out of Trudeauland.

    2. “what are the cons going to do now ? ”
Well right now the Con party brass are celebrating another well earned loss… thats how it works when you make every effort to lose an election and then, lose.
The chinamen are still in charge and very soon the economy will collapse and all freedoms will be lost, nothing has changed, other than pissing away another 600 million.
The way the country is heading the Cons won’t have to worry about losing another election.
Stool is finished, he did his job, he lost, now its time to take the money and run, like Scheer.
The Basic Dictatorship is just getting started and its here to stay, until the end.
The ‘voters” did as China commanded them to do, they voted for a psychopath, tyranny and more corruption.
All Stool and the Cons had to do was stand up for Canadians and Canada, stand up for freedom, “a Canadian is a Canadian is a Canadian ” type rhetoric would’ve worked, but they chose to run a “we’re Liberal too ” campaign simply assuring another loss.
Don’t think for a second that the Cons wanted to win this election, they didn’t.
They chose the same losing strategy that Scheerp chose, ‘we’re Liberal too”, a strategy the Con brass admitted was wrong after the last election when Scheer lost.
So why would the Cons employ the same strategy that they admitted was the reason they lost the last time ?
Because they wanted to lose, thats why.
This result was so utterly and pathetically predictable.
Freedom has lost. Tyranny has prevailed, by citizen decree no less.

  19. I didn’t vote today, for the first time in my life. But if I were Erin O’Toole –and thank goodness I’m not, I would call Jagmeet and the BQ and tell them the Tories will prop them up, with JS as PM and the NDP & Bloc taking all the cabinet posts. They literally couldn’t be worse than the Liberals. And mischief is important.

    1. Finally, we have a lateral thinker here! Bravo, (the other) James. Excellent. They’d have to defeat Junior first in the HoC, and hope that Junior’s personal GG doesn’t grant his (predictable) request to dissolve Parliament again. But who knows? It would certainly cause disruption. Perhaps Jag would be too cautious to go for it and risk incurring Junior’s (considerable) ill will. But it would be worth a try just for the laugh factor watching Junior’s face.

    2. The party brass would dump anyone who did that … and no Cabinet seats? from two thirds of the MPs voting for the coalition? C’mon.

      1. The paradox in Canada is that for the Tories to succeed, lefty voters need to flock to the NDP, as per the Harper years. To be frank: Quebec is never going to a brown dude, so we in the west need to force it on them. JS would be fine as a leader, especially if propped up by the BQ & Tories….he’d be middle of road, super reasonable, and the electorate would grow to like him. Blue liberals, (the “super rich” in JS’s playbook) would not like it.

In BC, conservative federal voters easily vote in provincial NDP MLAs. That’s a realistic dynamic for the rest of Canada.

The enemy for both the NDP & Tories is the Liberal party. We need to combine forces to destroy them. It’s in the interests of both parties.

  20. 21 seats lost from vote splitting??
Add that number to a-tools party and he still wouldn’t have formed government.
    Sshhh.

    1. If O’Tool was a conservative, he’d give his seats to Max.
I guess I’ll vote Libertarian from now on.

    1. We don’t use voting machines. It’s hand counted by mom and pop types with scrutineers from candidates present. This isn’t some banana republic like the us.

  21. I decided to watch CBC just to see their biased shit.
    Butts, et al.
My takeaway… Rosemary Barton needs to be removed from this planet.
What a twat. She is even controlling Butts. What the…!?

    1. The only change from the last election is that Rosie Barton is six inches wider. Maybe I need a new TV.

    2. Lisa LaFlamme was no better. I wonder if during the commercial breaks she had to wring out her frillies, what with her schoolgirl squirming and giddiness every time the camera would cut to Blackie and his family watching the coverage on their hotel room tv .

      1. I would bet that on UNIFOR. Donna Freisen and Nirmila Naidoo were arguing over which of them could blow TurdHole better.

  22. Before the 1M or so “mail-in” ballots are counted, it looks like Junior shaved another 1% off his previous record of least popular national government in Canadian history.

If he continues this electoral record of his, and if he insists we have a pointless election every 18 months, in another 15 years or so Junior will be getting just above 20% support nationally. He’d probably still be PM, thanks to some hokery-pokery in 905 magicland.

Maybe by then the CONs will have a decent leader and policy platform.

      1. They’ll have a hard time out-lefting the Turd, but if anyone can do it, Erin can! He out-lefted Turd 2015, now its time for him to out-left Turd 2019, and all the CPC voters will love him for it! If Erin can’t, I have high hopes for McKay.

  23. So, we now have what we had before…an “Official Opposition” that is on-board with carbon taxes, gun bans, identity politics, reconciliation and vax passports.
Thanks guys! Thanks to you, we won’t even be able to whine about it on-line soon enough.
Way to go, Canada! At least Alberta voted to continue whining about things.

    1. Good point Yeahwell. Now the Her Majesty’s official opposition supports the minority party in power. Way to go O’Toole. 2 more years! You now have to criticize policies you ran on. Do you not think people may notice, particularly Liberal propaganda people.

      1. Voters for a leftist platform did that. The PPC voters voted for a conservative platform. What’s with all these “hur dur, the party has the word conservative in it so it must be conservative, hur dur” voters?

        1. When you color the cons red on that map, you see what Canada really is.
I weep when I’m not drunk.

  24. Here’s some comic levity.

I just took the current popular vote totals nation-wide for ALL the parties and put them in 338 Canada’s “Federal Simulator”.

The results the simulator gives are flipped almost exactly for the Libs and Cons. Cons get 158, Libs get 122.

    Weird, or what?

  25. This election is like having rebuilt the Titanic, and on Titanic II’s maiden voyage, she sinks again, after having rammed the same iceberg!! Sad day for common sense and logic!!

    1. Well, Mr. Citizen, that’s a predictable outcome when the captain of the ship is the SAME IDIOTIC MORON EACH G-DAMMED VOYAGE!!!!

  26. So, now the only question is “do I take my vax in a lead exchange, or a needle?”
I think I’ll go for the former, or maybe change my name to Miguel Sanchez and try to go to the states as a refugee. I’ll tell ’em I’m on my way to Mexico.

  27. Ezra just interviewing some failed, but slick, CPC candidate with the question “Will O’Toole run again”?
I say yes he will. Two reasons: 1) It will be argued that swapping the coach after every loss is not a way to win a hockey games. 2) He wasn’t known to the public, now he is. OK 3 reasons 3) He’s a military-minded man who does not accept losses IOW he’s bull-headed.

Poilievre, time again to consider the PPC. Congrats on winning your riding, without CPC assistance.

    1. My PPC vote meant squat. We exchanged Derek Sloan for his CPC alternate. Here, we’re in CPC land, just like Montreal is Lib land, policy be damned! Looks like Derek lost in Alberta.

      1. Derek Sloan is in 5th place in Banff.
The NDP is so far getting 8 times as many votes as Sloan.
At least Derek is leading the Greens by 300 votes.

  28. Very good point from TheRebel. Voter turnout is very low. Canadians just don’t care.

Or (more likely) most Canadians just don’t see a choice.

    1. What was the turnout? Does that include the early vote and mail-in? Turnout is normally 67%. I was explaining to my “I don’t vote” step-son yesterday that the politicians want you apathetic and disinterested, then they can get away with what they want.

      1. Too early. I don’t know yet. i don’t care yet.

More importantly, my drink is almost out of rum. How can I opinionate on a Liberal minority without rum? Can it be done? I don’t want to live in a world where Rum is not a part of election eve (when what I want wasn’t even on the ballot).

Why isn’t “leave me alone!” a default on any ballot?

(Whaa! Whaa! I’m a Ted! Everything could be better ! Whaa! Don’t hold me accountable! Whaa!)

        1. More of a whiskey man myself, or beer if I’m drinkin’ socially. I figure there’s more whiskey in my future, or even moonshine, because Ima gonna need it.
The Soviets knew: Drink yourself to an early grave when life turns to shit.

  29. Seeing as how the CPC is now more Liberal then the LPC was in 2015, the map looks much worse than we are lead to assume. Pure commie red, except for the Bloc and the NDP, who are also both commies, the NDP being much, much worse than the Bloc.
Don’t blame me, I voted for Kodos!

  30. Has any website done the math if the Conservative and People’s party vote were added together, would it result in any more seats?

    1. You and I both know that the only party that espouses individual rights is the greatest threat to individual rights. The only way to secure even a minimum of individual rights is to vote for a party that promises to violate individual rights. Thus spake the CPC and their minions.

    2. No point until they count the mailed in votes tomorrow and perhaps for several more days … there are almost a million mailed in votes. At the moment, it’s something like ten but not all to Liberals, some to NDP. Also just doing this presupposes that PPC voters would otherwise vote CPC and that’s simply not the case, many would vote for a Libertarian (a party which seemed to stand down this time to allow the PPC to get all libertarian votes).

      1. Understood on your comment on not all PPC votes would switch to the Conservatives. It was just a hypothetical exercise. Just a curiosity on my part.

    3. Probably not. The system is rigged enough as it is.

      LIB 135 3,870,011
      CON 114 4,164,529
      BQ 28 1,010,487
      NDP 22 2,148,059
      GRN 2 274,584
      PPC 0 634,365

And I’m supposed to believe that my vote counts? (note to Ted and other fools – compare PPC and Green for elected or leading)

And… can’t add spaces to separate the number of seats from the votes that chose those seats.

  31. No rejoicing in Mudville tonight. Before O’Toole goes for the leadership review/convention perhaps he should consider an appearance in blackface since that was the only thing he didn’t copy from Trudeau’s playbook. I’m not looking forward to the further decline in Canada’s future. We have crossed the threshold of a country that has more takers than makers in this election. It will be interesting to see how Trudeau will institute mandatory ‘vaccines’, gun confiscation, capital gains tax, and the rest of the Liberal policies that were planned in the backrooms of Bay and St. Catherine’s. Gotta love Canadian’s political IQ, sub 80 points.

    1. O’Stoole didn’t cop any feels either ( that we know of). However, women seem to be okay with one jerk grabbing them but will scream outrage when another jerk does it. Thus, O’Stoole might not want to try that strategy.

  32. Perhaps Canada would be better off if all of its citizens adopted a “Punch random people in the mouth” policy. I begin to understand the disaffection of the citizens of African countries, I may even wear blackface in solidarity as I punch my fellow citizens.
Oh, and my policy is gender-neutral, so feel free to punch a broad.

    1. I think Canadians prefer to punch themselves in the face. They’re just too stooopid and nerve-damaged to be able to feel the pain.

      1. Hmmm…perhaps a tattoo parlour for “aesthetic shiners and sexy fat lips” is in order. I may as well get paid for it. It’ll be a tattoo parlour just because I use a tattoo gun to carve my initials in their faces. I guess this makes me a bad person.

  33. Elections don’t matter. Because even when we win (Harper years) our conservative leaders act like timid little children. And whatever conservative actions they take are eliminated in the first few minutes of the next Liberal government. One month of Trudeau in office and 9 years of Harper initiatives were erased.

Canada is and always will be a backwater nation. With a backwater currency and childish politicians mimicking what they see happening in the US.

I just sat through a month of Canada’s mainstream media sucking Trudeau cock and now I don’t even think there is a difference in seat counts. And now I get to go to work tomorrow trying to figure out if I should get a lawyer to fight being forcibly vaccinated. I despise this country.

    1. Canada is and always will be a backwater nation.

But that great Liberal Prime Minister Laurier promised us that the “20th Century belongs to Canada!

How could a Liberal politician lie to us?

  34. Kate, nearing 300 comments for the comment thread without a live-link on a federal election.

    Well done!

This isn’t a record for hits on your site, i know, but well done for having such a popular site that so many different opinions show up here.

My next stock sale (most won’t get this, I hope you remember my last support statement), you’re getting another dinner out. Thanks for hosting us (mostly) housebroken political type folks.

And those who lurk. Consider whether what you encounter here is worth supporting. If you don’t then abide a bit and consider what is worth paying for. If you do, then consider that CBC and CTV and CITY and many other area paid to tell you what you should think.

And that a painter and dog breeder from Saskatchewan is telling them to go the hell (without payment), and providing directions for how they will get there. You go, girl!

    Brand it on their asses!

    1. Yeah, Kate rocks. She’s more freedom-of-speechy than any American site. You can tell by how she tolerates loudmouthed name-calling cussing assholes like myself.

      1. loudmouthed name-calling cussing assholes like myself

Now, now, that’s enough self-praise out of you…before we know it your head will be as big as Junior’s…

    2. Too bad the Liberals, NDP, and Bloc are now going to pass their “C-10 Internet Censorship” legislation.
This Blog may become illegal by next year.

      1. Its time we learned what its like to live under the boot. The rest of the world has been doing so for centuries, and now we have to grow up and learn…Play time is over, time to deal with the big kids.

  35. Just remember.
    Kanuckistan is a bureaucratic dictatorship.
The unelected and unaccountable senior civil servants run the show. Politicians simply debate and pass legislation written by the bureaucrats. It really doesn’t matter who is elected, they will do as the bureaucrats direct them to. Politicians who stand up and say “no” will be brought down. TurdHole is just a reflection of the senior civil servants. The government exists for the benefit of the government and nothing else. Free stuff is just to keep the subjects quiet. That is why this country is going to hell and electing a different party really makes no difference.

    1. “Kanuckistan is a bureaucratic dictatorship”
So is every country that I know of. If you know of a way to organize a country without a bureaucracy, let me know. No superheroes allowed.

      1. I learned that lesson while bunting heads with the government. If they lose, they just go back and change the rules.
All I want is for politicians to represent the people to the bureaucrats, not the other way around.

  36. A quick look shows two ridings on vancouver island were given to leftists by the CPC voters. If they had voted for a conservative platform the PPC would have won in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith and North Island-Powell River ridings.

  37. Has any country in the world elected 100% leftist platform candidates before? A first for Canada maybe?

  38. S-L-O-W C-L-A-P!

What if the mail-in ballots put the Libs in a Majority?
    We’ll be really screwed!

For now, it’s too bad the Poopineau didn’t lose his seat. Toole is still an egg head and Jagbert still needs to have his bandages removed. And Max, well he still had the best campaign. In fact it was perfection.

As for your shooting the breeze here– you all must’ve been warriors in another life! Thanks for your colorful and informative comments guys, I didn’t even bother turning on the TV!

    G’ nite!
