Completely unsurprising; China uses what works.
It is almost as if Chicoms did not give a f*** about glowbull wormening. Surely we must re-re-double our efforts to compensate for them.
Impressed by the blog title Not a Lot of People Know That. And why exactly would that be, it’s not as if China is secretive about their plans for massive development of coal fired generating plants. Yet we see Canada’s Enviro Minister prattling on about evil coal and Canada’s plans to fight world use, while her boss cozies up to China and holds it up as an example of climate change awareness.
And the media juxtapose her comments with Donald Trump and blames US for burning coal while giving China a free break.
“Nothing to see here folks” as China signed a piece of paper in Paris promising to do something to reduce carbon emissions. These coal development plans should be front page fodder, yet they go largely unnoticed among our Liberal elite.
Awhile back China reduced the estimate on the number of new coal plants it would build from under 1300 to around 1100. The announcement was reported that China was “canceling over 100 coal plants”, not that China was planning “to build over new 1100 coal plants”.
You see it’s all very simple…
China does NOT have global warming and can build as many coal power plants as they want.
India is the same no global warming…
While we in the western nations have lots of global warming and should pay carbon taxes to save the planet.
When do we go to war with the planet destroyers China and India?
never mind..
eventually coal will save many generations from dying. the green freaks will hate it but they will live as well. wind turbines and solar panels will fade from existence their effectiveness being almost nil.
The research also found the following information related to Bitcoin mining consumption:
In the past month alone, Bitcoin mining electricity consumption is estimated to have increased by 98%
If it keeps increasing at this rate, Bitcoin mining will consume all the world’s electricity by February 2020.
Estimated annualised global mining revenues: $7.2 billion USD (£5.4 billion)
Estimated global mining costs: $1.5 billion USD (£1.1 billion)
Number of Americans who could be powered by bitcoin mining: 4 million (more than the population of Houston)
Number of Britons who could be powered by bitcoin mining: 1 million (more than the population of Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield, Manchester, Bradford, Liverpool, Bristol, Croydon, Coventry,
Leicester & Nottingham combined)
Bitcoin Mining consumes more electricity than 12 US states (Alaska, Hawaii, Idaho, Maine, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Vermont and Wyoming)
