Good to see at least one of the big players starting to come around and match predictions to observed data. Will some of the science societies be next? The biggest divergence right now seems to be between climate alarmism “IT’S GETTING WORSE!!” and actual observation which indicate mild, long term warming and less extreme weather. You may not have heard but mild warming is actually a net benefit and strengthens the argument that adaptation to any negative effects is the most reasonable option.

The prediction does not follow from the observed data.
An increase of 6 Cº by 2100 ignores that there has been NO Warming for the last 17 years.
The International Panel on Climate Change(IPCC) exists for the single purpose of selling the Global Warming swindle to the international community.
Dismantling the IPCC is the only thing that would constitute ‘coming around’.
a few years ago when this silliness started i was reading a site regularly called CO2science.org. the scientists and non scientists posting info on this site speculated that by the year 2030 there would an overall cooling of 1.3 degrees. how that would effect the planet would definitely not be as good as 1.3 degrees warming. today every state in the U.S. has temps below freezing somewhere in the state. the exceptions were NC, SC, Georgia, Florida and Louisiana. global warming, if only Lord if only. minus 23 where I am at present.
Even the New York Times knew that Hansen was full of it back in 1989.

It is neither “scientist” nor “scientists”. The appropiate label would be “scientician.”
So a few bought and paid for Aussie weather repeaters carry more sway than real observed measurements over the last 17 years, which shows there is no evidence, whatsoever, of runaway GW. The trend shows the same level of warming that has been trending for the last several centuries.
Perhaps you are as fooled as the scienticians who still believe faithfully in the grossly incorrect models from the IPCC.

I forgot to plug in my car’s block heater last night and it would not start. The temperature was -31C with a possible wind chill of -39. It’s been cold for several days now in my little NB town. My certainty about global warming is being sorely tested. But it is just an anomaly, a temporary exception and soon global warming will soon be obvious again. And I say this without a hint of irony.

canuckguy…………. I have worked in temps at minus 40 and a bit below. we did not think about wind chill and if equipment was not running it did not. what a great country. I spend a bit of time in flordia these days. that is just how it is.
I wonder if Mr. Suzuki will now be calling for the IPCC to be thrown in jail.
This development is very important to the whole global warning scenario. The sky is not falling, but I’ll bet my last dime that the re-distribution of wealth scheme will contimue at full speed.

The IPCC sole purpose is to sell the politics $$$ of global warming BS by any means necessary.. Anything they do or say is either selling it or buying time to sell it..
The IPCC must be de-funded until it no longer exists because they are con artists selling snake oil in a empty bottle.. Its so bad they cant even deliver a respectable placebo..
I have no interest in changing the warmist mindset.. I couldnt care less whats hiding under their beds or lurking in their closets.. I do care when my tax dollars are being directly used to fund POLITICS that I do not support..
Seeing as their is no true scientific basis, all the funds fall under illegal campaign funding.. They are breaking the law by forcing me to contribute to a political movement that I would never support on my own..
