However, a five-month-long Global News investigation, involving more than 30 interviews with current and former Oxaro employees, injured claimants and their attorneys, has uncovered allegations that the company was unequipped to deliver fully on the program’s mission, questions about why the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) chose this company over others, and internal documents that suggest poor planning from the start.
Global News also heard descriptions of a workplace that lacked the gravitas of a program meant to assist the seriously injured and chronically ill: drinking in the office, ping pong, slushies and Netflix streaming at desks.

PHAC and Oxaro underestimated the number of injury claims VISP would get, initially predicting 40 per year and then up to 400 valid claims annually. More than 3,000 applications have been filed — of those, 1,700 people are still waiting for their claim to be decided.
Some injured applicants say they face a revolving door of unreachable VISP case managers and fundraise online to survive.

Here’s a pro-tip, when trying to convince people that they should be vaccinated against measles because “the science” says it is safe, maybe also embrace “the science” that says only women can get pregnant.
This biological reality may be uncomfortable for some in today’s gender-bending zeitgeist, but it is still true. No man has ever been pregnant; no man will ever be pregnant – not naturally – and to claim otherwise is lunacy.
Yet, it wasn’t just CBC pushing this, they cited the Canadian Medical Association Journal, a supposedly “peer-reviewed” medical journal that has also abandoned basic science.
“Pregnant people with measles are at higher risk of pneumonia, hepatitis, and hospitalization and have a 10-fold higher risk of death than those who are not pregnant,” the CMAJ says in a recent post.
Who are these people who become pregnant? They are people with wombs, people that we call women, but in the name of political correctness, in the name of being woke, the CMAJ and CBC, use the phrase pregnant people.

The Food and Drug Administration is telling Pfizer and Moderna to expand the warning labels on their COVID-19 vaccines about the risk of a possible heart injury side effect linked to the mRNA shots, primarily in teen boys and young men, citing findings from a study published last year and new agency data.
Orders to expand the warnings were posted Wednesday by the FDA, in letters dated April 17 to Pfizer and BioNTech about their Comirnaty vaccine and Moderna about its Spikevax vaccine.

Chief Public Health Officer Dr. Theresa Tam and dozens of other pandemic managers were required to sign a secret oath promising never to divulge information that “may result in embarrassment” for cabinet, Access To Information records show. “Quite a few” were required to sign the pledge, said a newly-released federal memo.
Cabinet to date has declined to have a public inquiry into pandemic mismanagement. The health department in a 2023 memo said it completed more than 20 internal audits that “revealed critical weaknesses and gaps” but would not release them.

The study begins with the obligatory homage to mRNA technology, damning it with faint praise as ’a significant technological advance’, which is a misrepresentation still necessary to ensure the paper’s acceptance for publication (yes, journals are still clinging on to the fantasy). It then plunges into the detailed story of cancer vulnerability. It examines the impact of covid vaccinations on the survival of 272 PC patients admitted to hospital between January 2018 and November 2023.
Pancreatic cancer is aggressive with a low survival rate (about 10-12 per cent after five years). It is often detected at a late stage when it is already invading nearby structures, eventually metastasising to other parts of the body. The Japanese study found that repeated covid booster vaccinations are associated with poorer overall survival in patients with PC: ‘Patient outcomes had improved each year by 2020; however, it began to deteriorate in 2021 and outcomes in 2022-2023 were significantly worse than those in 2018-2021.’
The authors investigated a possible mechanism and concluded: ‘Notably, our analysis reveals that high levels of IgG4 [an immune suppressant we have discussed in many previous reports including our Open Letter to Medical Professionals and Life Scientists induced by vaccination, correlate with a detrimental prognosis in these patients. These insights provide essential information regarding the interplay between vaccination and cancer progression, which has significant implications for patient management strategies. Our study highlights the necessity for ongoing research into the long-term effects of mRNA vaccinations on cancer prognosis, which remains a pressing concern in the evolving landscape of public health and cancer treatment.’
The complex statistical analysis involved detailed consideration and matching into groups for age, sex, comorbidities, treatment history, vaccination history, etc. Overall those vaccinated twice had a longer survival than those vaccinated three times (p=0.006). Microbiological testing found a reduced immune response in the three-times-vaxxed group compared with those vaxxed twice. The study did not examine outcomes for other cancer types.
