  1. Getting a Passport in Cuba

” In almost every place there are busy times and dead times—moments when things are easy to get done, and others when it’s nearly impossible. Banks, ATM terminals, certain offices like the oficoda (where you get the booklet for monthly rations)… However, in immigration offices slow periods don’t exist. Every moment is intense. When you don’t see long lines of people, it’s because they’re not working—like at the end of the year, for example. Aside from those days, they’re always packed.”

    1. The bullet fragments could not be matched to the particular gun.

This does not mean that gun did not fire that bullet.

      1. This video echos my own concerns:

I said this right from day one. I know all about ballistics, muzzle velocity, kinetic energy, hydro-static shock, bullet deflection, etc. But I also am quite familiar with the .30-06 itself and this shooting did not appear to have created damage consistent with *that* calibre and *that* range (which was actually 140 yards, not 200…not that it would have made an appreciable difference in this case).

I’m not a big conspiracy guy, but I do need things to make logical sense. This doesn’t, in my opinion.

    2. It’s a horribly written article and provides zero information to support what is claimed.

      1. Horribly written? By our standards- yes.

However, I suggest it was deliberately written that way. The left wants to sow doubt in people’s minds.

        1. “However, I suggest it was deliberately written that way. The left wants to sow doubt in people’s minds.”

Well yeah, it was a defence motion…that’s what they do. But are they saying that the markings on the recovered bullet cannot be matched to the lands and grooves of the rifle barrel, or that it was a different *caliber* entirely? There’s a huge difference between the two and the wording of the article was terrible.

(which is of course why I said IF this is true…)

      2. Exactly. And is typical … the sensational headline doesn’t match the content whatsoever.

  2. As a 7yo watching this show in 1974, I will forever remain traumatized by the scene where the store mannequins come to life and start attacking Kolchak.

Fraud charges dropped against a swimming pool and landscape company inBarrie, ON, after the Crown dropped charges due to a slogged court system. The company collected $500,000 in advanced payments from customers– then refused to fo any work. Recall that our pro-crime Supreme Court set arbitrarily short time lengths for trial dates.

  4. Hold back the horses! Canada’s GDP soared by 0.1% last month m/m. Time to buy more stuff from China.

    1. Was that due to another expansion of government by hiring more “new Canadians” who will tell me on the phone they can’t understand me, in broken English?

    1. Gays of Hormuz must include Ayatollah Mojtoba Khamenei. We’ve all learned that Intel reports have strongly suggested Ayatollah Jr is gay. Regime opponents inside Iran are sticking Pride flags on newly displayed posters of Ayatollah Jr. Video on Tousi TV

  5. Thanks for the movie, Robert. I ended up watching the whole thing…because like others here, I loved The Night Stalker as a kid.

    1. The Islamic Socialist governments of Western Europe have chosen their own path for years by underfunding their committments to NATO.. The European governments are more then capable drafting a new defense plan dependent on Europe’s money and manpower.

  6. I rode in a Nodwell, while working on a gas rig near Fox Creek Alberta in 1978. At one point we drove (!) from the rig to the nearest road that could handle a semi-trailer full of supplies, to load up. On the way we came to a lake which the operator drove straight into, assuring us there was a corduroy road under there, somewhere.

  8. I was told that the Strait of Hormuz was historically lined with brothels, and the prostitutes used to bathe on the shores. This left a layer of hormuz floating on the water, for which the Strait was named.
