         The EU has 3 options: Russia, America (40% more expensive), or the Strait of Hormuz. Given the tendency of the EU to defer important decisions and the fact that Russian oil & gas is already plugged into the EU infrastructure, expect higher imports from Russia into the EU. Also expect a declaration “due to unprecedented circumstances, the EU will suspend some of its climate initiatives and will continue importing fossil fuel from Russia”.
