  7. It is obviously a game that can’t be won. If the Nazi’s and Communists couldn’t win, how could the game be at all realistic if the players are able to?
    On another note, with all the games created that have an evil enemy finally we have an opportunity to kill mass amounts of the good guys in the safety of our mothers basement.

  10. The hypocrisy of the left never fails to amaze me. Remember when Congresswoman Gifford was shot? The left went ballistic because the Republicans printed some posters that had cross-hairs on them.
    Now, in a matter of days, we have a thug like Hoffa urging people to march in the streets and bash in the heads of Tea Party followers, and this game. Apparently, advocating violence is the sole purview of the neo-fascists.

    Although not as typically hysterical and violent the conservatives often don’t help the situation
    with our own rhetoric.

    Robert’s suggestion is an excellent one. It would certainly be worth asking the CEO’s office of NASCAR, Sears, Hasbro, GM etc. if they want to support this kind of un-civil behavior by employing this Jason Oda yutz.

  19. Paul in calgary: The Klan always have been democrats. Its one of the reasons Martin Luther King was a Republican. One of the greatest tricks the ‘progressives’ have performed is whitewash their side of the equation by falsely accusing the Conservatives of doing the progressive’s dirty deeds.

    I’m with you, Rev. Not a big one for “civility” (in public discourse) or any of that. I just want someone to invent a kick-ass game (not that I’m a gamer) where we can blow appart the rotted skulls and even more rotted brains of Nancy Pelosi and Tim Geithner and even (gasp!) the God-King Himself.
    But of course that would be a hate crime, wouldn’t it? Incitement to violence? But if someone takes a pot-shot in real life at Palin, well, that will have nothing to do with anything, other than perhaps justifyable anger at Tea Party rhetoric. Now try to stay civil, you evil wingnuts h8ters, in as far as your primitive brains are equipt to allow you to recognize the concept of civility!
    (I get the feeling that some of you don’t really get the left. You might be under the impression that this is about ideas, arguments, character, etc. It isn’t. Barry could be proved wrong on every single thing he’s ever thought, said or done, to the extent that he hasn’t done that for himself already, and Palin could be proved right on the exact same things. It would make no difference, because Barry is a priori right, brilliant and good, and Palin is a priori wrong, hilariously stupid and evil [and a “bimbo”, because “progressive men are almost always misogynists]. Her politics make her wrong, not vice versa. If Palin cured cancer and Barry’s lavish pad in Balitmore was revealed to contain the remains of a dozen missing hookers in the crawlspace, both on the same day that it was revealed that Barry had never heard of Plato and didn’t understand that Mandarin was a foreign language, it wouldn’t make the slightest difference. Also, all leftists loath the Constitution. A not-even-terribly-leftist American prof I know has told me that he sees the Constitution as similar to Sharia law in that it is outdated, designed for a society that has outgrown it. Now if he were a serious leftist he wouldn’t be insulting Sharia by comparing it to the Constitution.
    You cannot be cynical enough about the left.)

    So pay someone to do it.
    Problem is, there aren’t very many conservatives in either programming or artistic fields. These kinds of games don’t get made for profit – they tend to be fairly low quality and have a limited audience, so they usually get made for fun, or in order to further someones political goals. If you want one made for the conservative crowd, you either have to encourage more conservatives to get involved in those fields or you have to be willing to pay a liberal to make it for you.
    Either way, whining about it won’t change anything.

    I get the feeling that you don’t really get people in general. Your “explanation” applies equally to the left, the right, and the fringe (eg. Paulbots, Gingrites, etc). There are plenty of studies which clearly show that people make up their minds first, and then look for rationalizations afterwards. You might also want to take a look at some of the recent studies which look at “brand loyalty” amongst consumers, how they approach the defense of brands which they identify with, and how they react to being “betrayed” by their brand. The same attitudes can be directly translated to how people approach politics.
