In a direct challenge to the Prime Minister’s authority, Conservative MP Adam Afriyie said people did not trust David Cameron’s pledge to hold a vote on Europe in 2017.
Backed by Tory and Labour Eurosceptics, he is set to force a Commons vote on the issue in five weeks’ time.

“You say the president has threatened to veto the bill?” Rogers asked.
“No. He hasn’t threatened. He said he absolutely will veto,” McGovern responded.
“He’s drawn a red line, has he?”
“Yep,” McGovern answered.
And the room burst into laughter.

On Monday afternoon, the US Department of Justice appealed to civil rights groups and the general public across the country for “tips” on George Zimmerman in their pursuit of potential federal civil rights charges against the just-acquitted defendant in the Trayvon Martin killing. The DOJ actually went so far as to set up an e-mail address to allow such tips: Sanford.florida@usdoj.gov. The email address is slated to go operational by the end of the week.

I purchased Mark Levin’s latest book at a Costco in Seattle earlier this week:

The looks I received from the pair of hipsters working at the checkout was less than positive when they saw it. So I got to thinking, now that I’m back in Vancouver, what reaction would I get carrying that book wearing my red Canada mittens through the more Lefty infested stomping grounds of Vancouver? I might even opt to read it outside at a Starbucks with the cover prominently shown! 🙂
