Federal compensation for Covid vaccine-related deaths and injuries has nearly tripled in two years, new figures showed yesterday.
Statistics indicated a total 3,317 Canadians filed compensation claims. Of those fewer than a tenth, 243 cases, have gone through a lengthy verification process and been certified by a medical review board.
An internal ArriveCan investigators’ report long sought by MPs has been sealed by Federal Court order. A judge blocked distribution of the findings at the request of Cameron MacDonald, a former Canada Border Services Agency director briefly suspended over the $63 million program: “The allegations each side makes against the other are most serious.”

However, a five-month-long Global News investigation, involving more than 30 interviews with current and former Oxaro employees, injured claimants and their attorneys, has uncovered allegations that the company was unequipped to deliver fully on the program’s mission, questions about why the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) chose this company over others, and internal documents that suggest poor planning from the start.
Global News also heard descriptions of a workplace that lacked the gravitas of a program meant to assist the seriously injured and chronically ill: drinking in the office, ping pong, slushies and Netflix streaming at desks.

PHAC and Oxaro underestimated the number of injury claims VISP would get, initially predicting 40 per year and then up to 400 valid claims annually. More than 3,000 applications have been filed — of those, 1,700 people are still waiting for their claim to be decided.
Some injured applicants say they face a revolving door of unreachable VISP case managers and fundraise online to survive.

An Ontario judge has ordered the RCMP and TD Bank to hand over records related to the freezing of Evan Blackman’s bank accounts during the 2022 Freedom Convoy protest in Ottawa.
Blackman was arrested on February 18, 2022, under the federal government’s invocation of the Emergencies Act, and charged with mischief and obstruction. He was acquitted in October 2023, but the Crown appealed and a new trial is set to begin on August 14, 2025.
Blackman is now seeking access to records detailing how and why his accounts were frozen, to support a Charter application at his retrial. His lawyers argue the freeze was a serious violation of his constitutional rights and plan to ask the court to stay the case.
“The freezing of Mr. Blackman’s bank accounts was an extreme overreach on the part of the police and the federal government,” said Chris Fleury, a constitutional lawyer representing Blackman.
“These records will hopefully reveal exactly how and why Mr. Blackman’s accounts were frozen.”
Blackman welcomed the ruling.
“I’m delighted that we will finally get records that may reveal why my bank accounts were frozen,” he said.
The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms, which is backing Blackman’s legal challenge, called the ruling a significant development.

Here’s a pro-tip, when trying to convince people that they should be vaccinated against measles because “the science” says it is safe, maybe also embrace “the science” that says only women can get pregnant.

Who are these people who become pregnant? They are people with wombs, people that we call women, but in the name of political correctness, in the name of being woke, the CMAJ and CBC, use the phrase pregnant people.

Why are Chinese nationals working in our universities – at all?
According to the complaint, Han is a citizen of the PRC who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. from the College of Life Science and Technology in the Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in Wuhan, PRC. In 2024 and 2025, Han sent four packages to the United States from the PRC containing concealed biological material. These packages were addressed to individuals associated with a laboratory at the University of Michigan.
On June 8, 2025, Han arrived at the Detroit Metropolitan Airport on a J1 visa. Customs and Border Protection officers conducted an inspection of Han, during which Han made false statements about the packages and the biological materials she had previously shipped to the United States. CBP officers also found that the content of Han’s electronic device had been deleted three days prior to her arrival in the United States. At the conclusion of the border inspection, Han was interviewed by agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation and ICE HSI. During this interview, Han admitted to sending the packages, admitted that the packages contained biological material related to round worms, and admitted to making false statements to the CBP officers during her inspection.

This wasn’t mere rhetoric—the DVE designation grants federal agencies expanded surveillance and investigative powers against targeted individuals, according to intelligence records recently declassified and obtained by Public and Catherine Herridge Reports.
But there’s more: One of the most powerful figures at the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has admitted she refused the Covid-19 mRNA vaccine while pregnant—even as her agency promoted it as “safe and effective” for all pregnant women.
The Food and Drug Administration is telling Pfizer and Moderna to expand the warning labels on their COVID-19 vaccines about the risk of a possible heart injury side effect linked to the mRNA shots, primarily in teen boys and young men, citing findings from a study published last year and new agency data.
Orders to expand the warnings were posted Wednesday by the FDA, in letters dated April 17 to Pfizer and BioNTech about their Comirnaty vaccine and Moderna about its Spikevax vaccine.
