      Everything.

      There is nothing they won’t ban, from internal combustion engines to screwdrivers to rolling pins. And the bans will change, week by week, so you will never know what’s legal and what’s jail time.

      Everything not banned is mandatory. That’s how it’s going to be.

  3. Complete incompetence or entirely planned? Yes to both, and add in a sprinkling of malevolence.
    You’re a safe driver. You’d never get behind the wheel after drinking. Yet, some people do, and they cause fatal accidents. So, to solve this problem, we’re going to take your car away from you, and we might not pay you for it. That’s the logic here.

        Yeah, the driving registration and licensing in Ontario has become utterly corrupt. I personally watched a guy try and fail to back up a truck and hitch his trailer. Twice. Got it on the third try, with the examiner coaching him. God only knows how he was on the road test, I’m thinking not great.

        I was there taking my motorcycle test, and the freaking shenanigans were on display to me, Mr. Casualy Observing Phantom. It isn’t like they’re hiding what they’re doing. Bro passed, I saw him walking out with his shiny new permit, all smiles. Bro is out there right now, driving around, and I’d bet he still can’t hitch the trailer.

        I passed because I can do a figure 8 and the cone slalom on a 900cc adventure bike without putting my feet down, which is the standard. But then the Harley riders also passed, by paddling with both feet. (A Harley -can- make it , but you have to have some serious slow speed skillz.)

        So, you know, competence optional. Which is a plan.

  4. Whether all these Cultural Marxists had the same Plan is probably not the case, but the Plan has evolved into what it is now – an anti-freedom, anti-individual liberty, anti-property rights Plan.
    A pro-criminal, pro-foreign criminal, pro all-guns-are-evil-dangerous-and-unsafe Plan.

    Meanwhile, the Leading Figures of it, Turdface and Carney, are obviously protected by guns.
    There are hundreds of guns ready for action on Parliament Hill when the “elected” bastards are there in case Canadians decide they’ve had enough of Cultural Marxists and Moral Relativists – like that’s gonna happen.

    It has also evolved and become very holistic across society.
    Insurance companies, Health & Safety elephants, feminist groups, the law industry, the human rights industry, public and private sector unions all work together to try and control everything you as an individual do.

    In Canada, the Individual is a threat to society, health and safety, solidarity, group rights, feminism, religious death cults, elections, the police, the science…

  5. Ref Gun Laws. The confiscations and persecutions will continue until the victims (farmers, hunters, fishermen, ranchers, loggers, sports shooters, etc) see it for what it is – yet another attack by the urban majority on Rural Canada – and respond in unity.

    In other words, never.

      Every time I see this it makes me laugh. Mr. McMaster sir, I want you to ask yourdelf what it would take to get you out on the side of a hill, in the rain, with a boom-stick in hand, waiting for some guy you never met.

      Yeah. That right there. It’s going to take more than a stupid law.

      But on the other hand, there was something interesting that happened in China over the last couple of months. All the stores in a couple provinces of China were closed. No centralized movement, no organization. Word got around that government inspectors were coming, and all the stores in town would lock up and go home for the day. Over an entire province. For months. Because it was better to lose the sales for the day or even the whole month than suffer the business-ending fines the -CROOKED- inspectors were handing out.

      And at the end of it all, the provincial officials backed off. It would take an armed SWAT raid to inspect the closed businesses, and they didn’t have the manpower.

      This is how things are actually done in totalitarian regimes. People just stop doing stuff. Completely. It’s like the old Russian joke: “They pretend to pay us, and we pretend to work.”

      1. You missed my point – perhaps because I didn’t make it clear enough. It was this: firearms legislation is just a small portion of the abuse and persecution that is heaped on Rural Canada. But the persecutions rarely affect more than one constutuent part of the rural community at a time. So dairy farmers only concern themselves with things that affect them; cash crop operators have their own unique concerns; ditto for loggers, orchard operations, beef ranches, etc etc.

        ALL the restrictions are urban in origin. But they pick us off one at a time. That would stop if the different sectors would realize that an attack on one is an attack on all.

        But, that will never happen. And I know this because 99 percent of Canadians – and that includes rural folks – won’t stand up and speak out.

    2. When zero affected firearm owners are participating,
      are instead in non-compliance with a Criminal Law threatening years in prison,
      “never” is a harsh insult to those hundreds of thousands (likely all Freedom Convoy supporters/participants)
      who aren’t merely committing civil disobedience this time.

      Give credit where it’s due.

      There won’t be confiscation unless the Liberal Party of Canada hires Xi to manage it directly.
      Not happening.

  6. jeez louise Canaduh. its ALL planned. ALL of it. with multiple objectives, one broad objective turn us into compliant sheep with multiple laws and regulations to trip us up now.
    ie vague ‘hate speech’ laws. a ginormous ‘gotcha game’ now.

    The correct answer is yes. The plan includes the incompetence, because the planners know the bureaucracy can’t find it’s own backside with both hands, a map and a flashlight.

    But what they can do with great effectiveness is divert huge streams of money to ‘Friends.’ They’re great at that.

When good people don’t recognize government authority, when people say I cannot comply anymore, that’s the disintegration of law and order in Canada and these people have pushed it past that limit.
